“I’ve been seeing Liza, the owner of the salon, for over 20 years. Even for the decade I was living on the east coast I would include a color session with her with every trip home to Portland. I’ve tried other high end salons in Boston and New York, and no one does color and cut like Liza. She is a true artist and will not compromise on your hair. “A friend recommended Jenny after I had gotten really bad, orange highlights all over my dark brown hair. Jenny listened to what I wanted and was confident she could take out the orange, return my hair to brown then add golden highlights. It seemed like a large task because there was so much orange. I saw many foils and such concentration during my visit but felt confident she knew what she was doing. It was great chatting with her and her taking whatever time was needed for this project. When she dried my hair I was in awe. I didn't think it could look that good. It was even better than pictures I'd shown her and it looked natural and fit my face/skin color. “I went to Ella for a color correction a few months ago. My baseline was Ashy blonde until I decided to do something fun and put some purple in it by myself not realizing it was a semi perm. The color would not wash off and I wanted to be back to the blonde for a work conference. I tried a DIY Color removal at home, which left me with greens. blues and whatnots….. It was bad!!

My Regular stylists were not available. Based on Ella’s reviews, I went to go see her and she DID NOT disappoint!! Not only is she super sweet. She also has a lot of knowledge on color chemistry, which she very patiently explained to me. To ensure she didn’t further damage my hair she did a test strand, even asked for feedback from fellow stylists before moving forward.

I am extremely Satisfied with my hair, she left me with a beautiful beach golden brown blonde balayage.
