Great organization and wonderful store with items at incredibly low prices. I've volunteered at a few build sites and at the Restore and can't recommend them enough, wonderful cause.

Some reviews here are for the Habitat ReStore, one review I noticed is for the Vancouver Habitat - a different organization.PORTLAND Habitat builds and renovates simple homes for low income people. It sells those homes to the preselected person, or family, at 0 interest and monthly payments set up to be affordable for the purchaser. The funds received from the home purchasers is then put back into the organization to build more homes. Some land and materials are donated, some have to be purchased. I went for a conflict resolution class and a financial planning class. These classes are open to the public, but are intended for Habitat for Humanity residents. I found the classes to be simple but useful. I think the whole organization is doing great work and they really know how to support people. I worked on a habitat house once and I will definitely support the organization in the future.
