Dr. Jake Lauer is very kind, thorough, and has been so great with all of my cats. The team is so accommodating to schedule changes and conflicts, they are efficient and always so friendly. (First Review) Amazing staff, service and cleanliness! Refreshments from sparkling water to Coca-Cola are offered with no charge, as well as blankets sprayed with Feliaway (calming spray) to help cats while they’re locked in their carrier! I was also very surprised to see that they had closed off waiting areas for dogs! 10/10, I will be brining my other animals here as well! The Dr. was very resourceful and had a lot of information!“

“Aloha Dog and Cat is our primary care vet for two German Shepards and two cats. The staff here has never been anything less than respectful and professional. They're prices are extremely reasonable especially in this day and age which is appreciated. The staff is knowledgeable, has never steered us wrong or misdiagnosed/mistreated our pets and the vets are always willing to chat and answer questions if something comes up. We've had a handful of unfortunate circumstances with our pets and they've helped with referrals to specialists amd/or top notch follow up care. Thanks to Tanasbourne Vet Emergency and this office, they're all still with us and doing well.

“We brought our piglet Wayne in with a complication. The staff and Dr. Christina herself were very professional,courteous and communicative with a health plan in moving forward with care. Every person we dealt with within the practice were super nice and up front with pricing prior to moving forward.
In regards to past reviews, it is not up to anyone within any establishment to mange one's inability to self regulate their emotions. While direct communication may not always feel pleasant, one may consider checking themselves first before writing a Google review.
As for me, I plan on bringing not only my farm animals but my domestic animals too. The practice here has a good flow, it's clean and I can tell the staff enjoys the work they do.“

“I'm not sure we have dealt with Dr Gilbert... We use Viking Veterinary and have seen several vets, but last year or so mostly just two of them.

But I guess maps offered to route me to a doctor instead of the whole practice so now (as usual) Google Maps keeps nagging me to do a review. It becomes easier to just do one to shut it up.“

“Decided to leave the vet factory that is B******d. Brought our boy in for allergies. Turned out it was his food. Skin spray & oral medicine (cytopoint didn't work for him). Amazing care & concern. And these treatments worked! My boy just loves Dr Beedle! A few months later we brought our girl in for an abnormal growth on her abdomen. Dr Rejba was companionate for my concern of cancer. A sample was sent out for testing. If you're concerned about pricing over treatment when it comes to taking care of your sick pet, then you don't deserve a pet! Any kind of healthcare & treatment cost! And it may be $30 more than the factory down the street, but to find staff as caring and attentive as this veterinary office, it's worth every penny! From front office to back, A-MAZ-ING!!“

“We have recently moved away from the Portland area and one of the biggest losses for us was leaving Viking. Over the course of the decade we were with Viking, Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Hendricks, and their teams saw all 4 of our fuzz butts, 2 of them through the end of their lives. We have never been more grateful than to have been directed there after several bad experiences elsewhere. The quality of care from start to finish for both us and our pets was top notch. We cannot recommend them highly enough. For the last 5 years we have primarily seen Dr. Hendricks. Her and her techs took the time to get to know our pets and their quirks, including working with our extremely anxious dog and over the course of that relationship earning her trust. They explained everything they were doing and why. And they always stayed within the budgets we had whether it was for routine care or the many old man dog issues. They have set the bar for any future vets we work with. And that's a high bar. We will be forever grateful to the whole Viking team for everything they've done for us. “Had to take my pup in for stitches and was very worried because she's an anxious dog. Not only was the doctor awesome and very confident in working with an anxious dog but the front desk staff was wonderful. It's a very busy place but no one seemed cranky or snippy. Best experience I've ever had at a vet.“

“These guys are great! This is the economical way to get your pets immunizations, microchips and the sort. A REAL veterinarian and technicians arrive in a "veterinary office on wheels". It's on a first come, first served basis, and there's always a line, so I recommend getting there 1/2 hour ahead of the scheduled clinic start time.“
