We have been bringing our boxer, Ruger, to Kindness since we got him as a puppy 5 years ago. He’s our 6th boxer and definitely has the most health issues in just his short 5 year life. He’s highly allergic to bees resulting in multiple trips to the emergency vet. He’s had several gastrointestinal infections, kennel cough, random injuries, etc. Each and every time we’ve brought him in to see Dr. Kortyka or Dr. Story, they’ve been great with him. We recently learned he has a mast cell tumor. We arrived with the knowledge that it was highly likely going to be mast cell and I was really nervous and upset. My daughter and I brought our kitties in last week for a checkup. It was our first time at Kindness, and we were very happy with the experience.
When we arrived, someone held the front door open for us, which was especially nice since we were both carrying large cat carriers.
Everyone on the staff was friendly and professional. The clinic was clean and had a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
Dr. Thursam took her time with my cats’ exams and answered all of my questions. It felt relaxed, thorough, and not at all rushed. She and Anna were both so sweet and gentle that even my shy cat warmed right up to both of them.
They really live up to the name Kindness here!
I just established care at Kindness Family pet clinic for my senior pitbull Lani. We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Kortyka and his assistant, Ashley. They were incredibly kind, gentle, and compassionate throughout the entire visit.
Lani has severe arthritis, and Dr. Kortyka took the time to thoroughly explain everything, answer all of my questions, and develop a thoughtful plan to help manage her condition and improve her quality of life. It’s very clear that they genuinely care about their patients!
