“My teen son was referred by his pediatrician for removal of a few moles that were bothering him. We were able to get an appointment rather quickly.

There were complications during his visit that Dr. Leitenberger and Abby handled with so much grace. They explained everything that was happening in an approachable manner - easy for young teens to understand, gave him autonomy to decide how the visit would proceed, and checked in on him numerous times to ensure he was ok during and after the procedure.

They didn’t rush us to get out the door when my son needed more time to recover. If you know anything about how typical dermatology shops are run, you’ll understand how exceptional that is.

Overall I just think this care team is wonderful for children (including neurodivergent kiddos like mine) and would highly recommend. Bonus: free 2-hr parking in the ground floor garage.“

After (finally) getting tired of some complexion issues I was experiencing, I booked an appointment with Dr. Bohnett last spring & sought her professional expertise. Thank goodness I did. Everyone I have had contact with, from the scheduling staff on the phone to the medical staff in the office has been outstanding. However, my top praise goes out to Dr. Bohnett herself. She is incredibly kind & understanding, while being direct & honest. I have visible tattoos (a full sleeve and a half sleeve) and really appreciated feeling completely comfortable and respected in her office. “I went from 80% of my skin destroyed by psoriasis to TOTAL clearance, in under 1 week. After 16 years, this felt like a miracle.
I will acknowledge that Dr Landers can be overwhelming and even gruff. When I first saw her I told her a lot about my backstory (changing diagnoses, medication reactions), and she was not interested. She knew what I needed and wasn't interested in what I'd been through. I was so intimidated that I almost cried. It seemed we were not a good fit and she offered to refer me elsewhere if I wanted a different approach. HOWEVER, she had that attitude because SHE'S THAT GOOD. She knew instantly what I was dealing with (after 16 years of misdiagnoses), did a biopsy at the same visit, told me what meds she was likely to prescribe. As soon as we got biopsy results (confirming her visual diagnosis, about 2 weeks later) she started me on meds, which she herself provided until insurance came through. She recently hired someone to help with some simple procedures like the kind I need and I can get an appointment frequently now. Staff is so friendly, I don't mind driving across town. She was highly recommended by my naturopath. Have not been treated so well by other skin care professionals in the past due to my lack of conventional beauty, I believe. She is not like that.“
