These days, access to healthcare is impossible. 2 Months for a physician appointment, leads to another 2 months waiting for Physical Therapy. NOT AT Center for Chiropractic + Wellness. Often, I've text before they open and receive a same day visit. Knowing this, I skipped seeing our family practice doctor for my active 13-year-old soccer playing son and set an appointment with Dr. Sykes.

While I've had many appointments, this was his first meeting with my son. Immediately, he communicated directly to my son and prompted me to add information. In the moment, I realized what a learning experience this became and witnessed my son grow in that moment. However, it was the language Dr. Sykes used. He explained everything in ways a 13-year-old boy would understand. As important, he asked for permission and explained each step during the stretching tests. After explaining a strained groin, he provided exercises and recommendation to stay off it for 4-5 days.

We left with a plan and returned 4 days later to follow up. My son was back to soccer on day 6 and now is doing extra stretching every day.“
