Thermea is my favourite place - great to come for the day, relax and unwind. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Unfortunately the guest experience has taken a hit. Last time I was there, they implemented a one robe exchange policy. I usually go to the spa for a minimum of 8 hours - you can't use just 2 robes for that entire time and be comfortable. They said they are trying to minimize their carbon impact by reducing laundry. Why the paper cups and paper towel in the bathrooms if the carbon imprint is such a concern? My best friend and I purchased gift certificates for each other to Therma for our 40th birthdays. We finally went together this past Saturday. It was immediately amazing. After maybe an hour we were already talking about needing to return. We love exploring the different saunas and steam rooms. I was very proud of myself when I got the nerve up to cold plunge. Entering Kalla felt like entering into a castle. It was so beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend trying it. We loved the atmosphere and service in the pub. It was a beautiful spa! I’ve been to the others close by and it was by far superior. There was many different pools and options, very clean water and facilities. The restaurant was DELICIOUS! Everything was amazing we will definitely be going back
