Got my first proper tattoo here and could not recommend it enough. I was terrified and he made really good conversation throughout the whole thing and was very encouraging, honestly been the best part of my visit to Toronto and I’m really glad to have a piece to remember it by. Offered to take photos and brought out a whole (prop) katana which caught me off guard lol and even gave me extra product to heal with before sending me off with some recommendations of things to do in the area.

A traditional style shop, the oldest in Greater Toronto! We got two tattoos, one for myself and one for my wife. James is a great guy, gentle with the gun, creative and considerate with his work. They take cash or card, they accept walk-ins. If you have a image or idea, they have a email you can send it to. Rates are very reasonable.
What a great experience.
Went to Artatorture for the first time tonight, got a tattoo for my mother who recently passed away. James was so kind and knowledgeable! What a great guy. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back! 😊
