“We contacted Home Instead 5+ years ago for our mom who was began to struggle with household chores resulting from a diagnosis of Parkinson's. Mom was paired with Lori, who was amazing. In addition to helping with groceries and light cleaning, Lori became Mom's shopping buddy. We were so happy to see mom getting out of the house, doing something she loved with someone who became a friend. As mom's health declined, Lori and Home Instead were super flexible and adjusted with mom's new and additional needs, which included going to spend time with her in hospital and finally, at her nursing home. While this can be a tricky stage of life to navigate, Home Instead staff were supportive and understanding at every turn, for which I am thankful.”
