We contacted Home Instead 5+ years ago for our mom who was began to struggle with household chores resulting from a diagnosis of Parkinson's. Mom was paired with Lori, who was amazing. In addition to helping with groceries and light cleaning, Lori became Mom's shopping buddy. We were so happy to see mom getting out of the house, doing something she loved with someone who became a friend. We hired Home Instead to take care of my 90 year older mother-in-law. She needed some assistance with cooking, bathing and basic wellness checks. They paired her with caregiver Lou Ann who has helped tremendously with her care. My mother-in-law greatly enjoys her company and always talks about the wonderful homecooked and healthy meals Lou Ann prepares.
Home Instead has allowed her to stay in her apartment while giving us the peace of mind that she is regularly cared for. Lou Ann keeps a journal at her apartment about all visits and readily points out any areas of concerns. We couldn’t be happier with the service and would recommend to anyone looking for in home care.
