“One of my favorite salons and spas that I've been to in Kingston. All of the staff are super warm, welcoming and kind and immediately made me feel comfortable. I didn't go to salons a lot so it didn't really know what to expect and it blew it out of my expectations. I've gone here to get haircuts and dyes(Jahnita) as well as massages and waxing(Casey/Rachel)All services have been great every time. And haven't even had friends come here and have good experiences as well. I have met many of the staff here and all are kind and welcoming. They are knowledgeable and able to provide information on hair products and other items. I've added along with this review two photos of my hair coloring service done by Jahnita“

The salon is always clean and offers such a calming ambience from the second you walk in. Yetmir uses only the most sustainable products which have my hair feeling healthy, shiny and smelling fantastic. “Michelle gave me the BEST bangs today, exactly what I had envisioned and hoped for. She answered all of my questions, explained everything in terms of styles and made sure we were on the same page before beginning the cut. She took her time with cutting my bangs and showed me how to style them at the end. I definitely recommend her and will be booking another appointment with her when I need a trim. “I am SO IMPRESSED with this place! Bea you are fantastic!!!I have never been to a hairsalon before due to witnessing negative past experiences with my mom and sister when they used to go to salons. So my mom or sister have been cutting my hair and I got by fine. But since moving to Kingston I am away from them and I really needed a haircut and I was interested in donating it to an organization that does wigs for cancer patients. I looked around for different places that have private rooms (I wear a headscarf and my hair cannot be seen by strange men) but it was surprisingly very difficult to find that, then one day I stumbled upon this salon in my Google search and they had everything I wanted. They had a private room, they also take the donated hair and give it to Angel Hair for Kids foundation, and they have years of experience.Bea was very lovely and friendly, i showed her a couple pictures and she knew exactly what I wanted. She was fast but it did not feel rushed at all, she is just THAT good! We had great conversations during the appointment and she was interested in me as a client and provided a pleasant experience and time for me there. I am happy with the result, and my husband was VERY HAPPY too he loved it. I appreciated that Bea was respectful of my beliefs and that she commended my hair quality and did not push any products on me (this is usually what happens when i get facial treatments or any other cosmetic related service elsewhere). I will definitely come back again!Thank you!“

“Started my curly journey a year ago and was told I should get a curly girl hair cut. I found Brushez though a google search. Laurie was great! She talked me though the process and gave me tons of tips to help add volumn on top. I was even able to grab some LUS products, which I love and was going to order online. I was interested to see how my hair would look without the product in and am happy to say its amazing! I will definitely return and hopefully take my two curly daughters there as well!! I wish I had the before photos to share but heres a photo of my hair with NO product in it! Its insane the difference the devacut made to my loose curls!“
