“Some friends and I were pierced by Pounds last night and am so happy and satisfied with our experience with her. She gave us realistic expectations, talked us through our options given our individual anatomy, made recommendations, and was incredibly friendly and competent with her work. Her work station was incredibly clean and organized, and sanitized and changed gloves between all four of us. I got a daith piercing and Pounds explained the level of pain expected in a realistic manner, was gentle and talked all of us through the whole process. I am so so happy with her and my outcome.

The person at the front desk however was very rude and dismissive. She did not greet us when we walked in, was short in answering our questions, and acted as if it was an inconvenience that we walked in. I have multiple piercings and tattoos and have been to multiple shops across the city and haven't had someone at a front desk be so uninvolved and uninterested in their job. She seemed to lighten up at the end but it felt more like she was happy we were finally leaving.“

“I decided to come here to change my conch piercing and get my second lobes done today.
Everyone was friendly, and they were doing this little sidewalk sale. They had a ton of cute little tattoos for $100, so I decided to get one and ended up with this Lil guy! Julia tattooed him for me, and she was so wonderful. Super nice and sweet, and her work is phenomenal!
I spoke with Ryan first about my jewelry, and he was super helpful and kind, talking me through the choices and even let me use his personal hotspot to fill out the online form since my data had run out!
Kadie did my jewelry change and second lobes, and she was wonderful. She did everything quickly and efficiently, was super sweet, explained things clearly, and reopened my second lobe piercings that I thought had been closed!
Overall, my experience here today was amazing, and I'd definitely recommend this shop to anyone!“
