We hired Marylyn Joel to provide her expertise for renovation of the interior of a 35 year old approximately 1700 sq. ft. ranch bungalow. The primary focus was a revision to the en-suite and main bathrooms on the main floor but eventually included the family room and kitchen on the main floor and a bedroom in the basement. In the end the bathrooms on the main floor were totally redone, the fireplace and floor in the family room and kitchen were updated, the trim, doors , window coverings and lighting were upgraded throughout the main floor and the second bedroom was built in the basement. Ms. Joel was very responsive to our needs and had excellent suggestions with respect to layout, materials and colours to create the spaces we were striving for. She produced clear and concise design drawings for our approval that carried through to the contractors who were able to give us firm prices and schedules to do the work. Further the clarity of the drawings made possible the execution and satisfactory completion within acceptable timelines. Her knowledge and wealth of contacts meant we were able to source the materials and finishes we wanted without any of the anticipated difficulties. Overall we were very pleased with the result.
The installers (Mike and Saul) were fast, knowledgeable and personable. With a few lighthearted moments thrown in to ease some tense moments when things looked doubtful. A very positive experience. Thanks for all your help. My install looks beautiful.

When I moved to Collingwood last year, I was still driving to Aurora to get my hair done. I loved my hairdresser but then winter came! So, I looked at reviews and decided to try Carla at La Moda. I am a very dark-haired woman with a lot of grey, so I have gone blond (with highlights and lowlights). It’s the little things that Carla does. The little details she pays attention to…like all my baby hair and the complete little white spot I have right in the middle of my part. It’s her attention to detail that I love. Carla is a woman who takes pride in her work and she is a communicator so the time flies by with lots of conversation and laughs. So, I highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

I've changed stylists many times because I am extremely particular when it comes to who touches my hair, I promise you the Latitude's ladies are better than any $500 dollar Yorkville cut and colour you will find- and always a good laugh too.
This review is long overdue. Capelli is a gem of a salon. Professional, welcoming, a fun place to be.Lyndsey, my stylist, is incredibly talented. My haircuts grow out beautifully, I joke that she is the reason I don't need to come in as often. I have no doubt everyone at Capelli's is equally talented. This is a 5 star+ salon.

Both Krista and Shannon are experienced stylists who go above and beyond for their clients. You just have to see the time and effort they put in when styling an elderly client to know they care, not only about styling their hair, but also ensuring they are providing a safe and comfortable environment for them as well. As for myself, Shannon has been my stylist for several years and always does an excellent job, so much so that I have been complimented on numerous occasions about the cut and style of my hair with inquiries as to who does it. Fantastic service!! Very fine detail and very precise, booked me in last minute after a phone call on a weekend even tho being told unavailable, recieved a text message shortly saying was available suddenly due to a cancellation and even given the 45min drive being 15min late for available apppintment still fit me in for a haircut. Very customer friendly and by far most precise and excellent haircut! Thanks again to the Owner

Went to here yesterday for a beard trim with Susan. She was great and everyone else was friendly as well. Was in and out quickly and very happy with the trim!
Me, my cousin and my sister went in for pedicure. it was the best pedicure I have received. we got an extra long leg and foot massage and they were very careful to take off all the dead skin and paint our toe nails perfectly. can't wait to go again!

I was looking for a new hair salon closer to where I live and tried U Salon. I had an amazing experience! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Rylee did my partial highlights and mini trim. I loved the way my hair was done and left the salon very happy with my hair! I will definitely be returning for future hair appointments.

Very clean and relaxing environment. Sommer uses the best lashes and glue and my retention can last up to 4-5 weeks. I get compliments daily on how great my lashes look! Highly recommend!

I had the Pumpkin Spice Pedi yesterday with Taylor, and it was such a wonderful experience! I keep looking at my feet, amazed at how smooth they are—especially since I usually have such dry skin. The entire treatment was incredibly relaxing, and I really felt the value in every step. Taylor did an amazing job, and I can’t thank her enough for making my feet feel so pampered!

I emailed Abbey with an idea for botanical stamp tattoos, and she was helpful and friendly in helping me figure out the design. Abbey made me feel welcome and comfortable when getting the tattoo. We worked together to find the proper placement and size. The tattoo process was calm, and the equipment was clean. Quill and Dagger has an awesome vibe, and I enjoyed the experience. Abbey also had a flash promotion for Friday 13th, so I added a small moon and 13 designs to an existing tattoo from many years ago. Abbey is a talented artist, and I’m glad I had the pleasure of having her tattoo me. Thanks!

Peak Plumbing/Jon has provided really great service at our place, he is always on site quickly and always tries to early diagnose problems w iphone photos. He often solves the main problem and then fixes other issues he notices (like dishwasher drain securing clamp the builder forgot to install). Jon is always my first call, have recommended him to several neighbours!

Four months ago, upon returning from a flight, I began experiencing severe pain and pressure non-stop daily in my left ear. The pain was so intense that I underwent an MRI to ensure there was no serious issue, thankfully with normal results. Despite numerous visits to doctors, naturopaths, various antibiotic prescriptions, and mounting frustration, my chiropractor recommended John to me. I am incredibly grateful that she did! After just one session with John, my inner ear pressure has improved by 80% from its worst during this ordeal with my eustachian tube. I found Ccerlii after arriving in Collingwood in 2019. She helped heal my chronic headaches and neck pain. Since then, she is my go-to person anytime I need some healing help. Most recently, I had near complete ACL tear after a cycling accident and started treatments with her immediately. In combination with her help and Physio, I have been able to avoid surgery and gain the majority of my mobility back faster than my Physio therapist expected! Ccerlii is very professional, knowledgeable and eager to help those in need. All around a wonderful human being and I highly recommend her services!
