I gave it four stars out of five because on the gutter install there was a miscommunication with the person reviewing the project and the estimator. Initially, my price only included a portion of the gutter which included a wrap. Then I decided to install a new gutter around the whole house. The guy reviewing the property said it would include the wrap and gutter. I received a change order and paid the difference. Then I get a call requesting more money because the price only included the gutter and not the wrap. Meanwhile, the job is underway and majority of the gutter system is wrapped. I told the foreman that was their mistake and I should not have to pay for that. He insisted that the mistake was on my part and never included the wrap. Then why did the installers wrap most of the gutter system? In the end I told him I wasn’t going to pay anymore money. So, I have a small portion that did not get wrapped. Overall, Van Martin did a great job. I am happy with my new roof. The only thing I am not totally satisfied with is that small portion of gutter that did not get wrapped. BTW, I was also impressed with the gutter installers. They kept me informed as they worked.”
