“I am a first time pet owner(rescue) and this is our first vet appointment. The first vet I called the woman on the phone was cold, sounded irritated that I had questions, and completely lacked empathy in regards to my concerns of my high anxiety rescue kitty. Then I called Animal Clinic of Chardon(strongly recommended by my sister who is a veterinary assistant at an ICU) and let me tell you the two ladies I spoke with were the kindest, sweetest, reassuring professionals. They are fear free certified and Kim walked me through the process. She gave me recommendations on carriers and some tips as well. My anxiousness about bringing kitty to the vets has went from a 15 to about a 3. I know I haven’t even taken her in yet but I feel this experience deserves a 5 star review! I just have a gut feeling that my Bubbles is going to be in great hands ❤️“

“Are they expensive? Yep. This is a 24hr emergency hospital. They are always expensive. Do I feel that they were knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough? Yep. Would I return for emergency services? Yep In one month's time, I took my 2 cats here four times. Both had to be euthanized in 2 days for 2 different things. Needless to say, it was probably the worst 2 days of my life. Dr Spanski cared for them on all but 1 occasion. Although I was having a breakdown, Dr Spanski was very patient and compassionate. She clearly felt bad and really cared for my pets. She didn't sugarcoat what was going on and I appreciated that. The clinic assistant was also very kind (with the purple hair, I didn't get her name). She came and just sat with me a while and cried with me as I was processing everything. They were both kind to me during a horrible ordeal.“
