“We love Hilliard Taekwondo Academy! Ms. Thompson and her team of instructors are great role models for our kids. They have helped my two daughters grow so much over the last four years. More than just martial arts, Ms Thompson teaches life skills like how to handle bullies, how to be resilient in the face of disappointment, and how to respect boundaries. The studio is always clean, communication to parents is always clear and timely. We are grateful for the consistency and routine that Hilliard Taekwondo Academy has added to our life!“

“We’ve had such a wonderful experience with my daughter’s Taekwondo classes! From day one, the instructors have been incredibly patient, encouraging, and supportive. They do an amazing job balancing discipline with fun, which keeps the kids engaged and excited to attend every class.

I’ve seen a huge improvement in my daughter’s confidence, focus, and respect—not just in class but at home and school as well. The structured environment teaches important life skills like perseverance, self-control, and teamwork. The instructors truly care about each child’s progress and take the time to make sure every student feels included and valued.

The classes are well-organized, energetic, and age-appropriate, making learning both effective and enjoyable. I highly recommend this Taekwondo program to any parent looking to help their child build strength, confidence, and character in a positive and supportive environment!“

“My children have been at this gym for almost a year now. Coach Dan and his team are absolutely amazing. They are so patient and kind as well as understanding with all the kids and their different ages/skills levels. Coach Dan really takes the time to comfort the kids if they are having a tough day and he also knows how to push them to their limits. I appreciate the growth my children have shown this last year and I am looking forward to seeing them progress even more. Thank you so much Coach Dan. You may not hear it enough, but you are truly appreciated ?“

“I’ve been going to this dojo for practically my whole life (and my brother went here) to the point I consider it a second home. If you are in Columbus and want to start a martial arts career no matter how old you are, this is by far the best dojo to go to. Everything you learn is taught throughly and you can apply what you learn to other things in life. Every student is kind and welcoming, and the strength training program is absolutely amazing. I love coming to class and it’s a great sport to do for your mind and for your body. The friendships and experiences you get here can’t be found anywhere else!!“

“Love this school! As a business owner I am particular about the work I do and always expect the best results. So happy to have found a school with the same values and expectations. Yes, I am an adult participant, and attended for a short time while in school in the area. I was looking for a great workout and the benefit of self defense skills was a plus. Also, being new to the area, I enjoyed the Village TKD family events. It is a family business with over 30 years of combined experience. They LOVE what they do and always keep it interesting with new workouts, relays and practice skills. Their fees are reasonable compared to other schools. And, they have multiple class times available during the week.Don't wait!!! Start now. I wish I would have 30 years ago or more....“

“? I believe Rafael Santos and Randall Seth Richey, along with their associates, have filed at least 16 injunctions against me in the last year. ⚖️ If that’s not “going above and beyond,” what is? They’ll do anything to strip a loving father of his rights. ❌ They haven’t been able to legally change custody, but they’ve been able to illegally block it — thanks to Judge Gerald Hill, Judge Melissa Gravitt, and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. ?️ Judge Hill even hides the new filings on a secret docket nobody can see, and they’re trying to serve me out of state even though it’s unlawful. ? I don’t think any aftercare program, jiu-jitsu studio, or school in the country would put this much effort into going “above and beyond.” ? Comment below: why do you think they’re putting in all this effort? ? And now one of the gym members, Ken Zapan, has launched a public campaign saying he believes Randall Seth Richey was fully within his rights to do what he did to his own daughter. ? These people are… unbelievable.“
