“Our daughter started going to Kung Fu classes at the minimum age of 8 and we could not be happier almost 2 years later. Master Shoemaker is amazing with the kids and it's been so awesome to watch her skills improve. The whole staff are great, patient, disciplined, and teach values beyond just the martial arts. We love Ho-I!“

“The instructors at Padron Dojo are absolutely wonderful. They make learning martial arts fun and engaging. When my son was frustrated and ready to give up on karate, Shihan Leo Padron exhibited exceptional patience and slowed everything down, ensuring we were all comfortable with each basic move before moving to the next. He did so in a way such that the whole family had fun and left feeling excited for a summer, perhaps a lifetime, full of lessons.Sensei Armondo Washington has been equally encouraging and patient. When I showed up for my first kickboxing/self defense class, I was excited but also nervous. Learning martial arts has been a dream of mine for ages, but I always felt too intimidated, like I wasn't strong enough. Sensei Armondo met me at my level and taught me, not only the basic kickboxing moves, but also what exercises to do to build my strength. He pushes me to be better and do my best, and always in a positive, encouraging way. I've made great strides, and I'm looking forward continuing to grow in strength, confidence and skill.“

“My first visit to Aikido of Columbus was for a workshop for Being in Movement for everyday applications. Paul Linden is one of the best teachers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, truly empowering his students by listening and trusting us to experiment. Throughout the workshop as well as Aikido classes, Paul taught me to listen to my body, and helped me uncover truths about myself I thought didn't matter. Paul, thank you for the life changing experience, the community, the sacred space you've created (both in Columbus and in our minds/bodies), and for the global work you do building peace and healing trauma.“

“My 15 year old son loves this place. The people are extremely nice and patient with those who are learning. The practices are engaging and include all levels (basic, medium complexity and advanced) of activities. The cost is very affordable: 100$ per month for adults and 65$ for those under 18.You can come to any of the classes throughout the week, but ideally they recommend to come at least 2-3 times a week so that you keep progressing.“

“Our son started in the Little Tigers class when he was 4. He has grown tremendously in terms of his physical abilities, his confidence, and his ability to communicate effectively. We attribute a lot of this growth directly to his participation in WMAI's Little Tiger Classes“

“While I am no longer a student of USA Seibukan Martial Arts Training Center, I can say with full confidence that it was and will be one of the best experiences of my life. Shihan Rodger Pyle was understanding and patient with me when other coaches/teachers weren’t and the staff and students are all extremely supporting and helpful. This place made me feel seen and understood. Thank you so much Shihan Rodger Pyle for these classes and providing a comfortable, fun, and educational experience.“
