Sisterlock Installation was a pleasant experience. Frances was very easy to work with. Every interaction I had with her from my initial consultation to my first wash went smoothly. She was thorough in what the process entails, honest and forthcoming with pricing and my decision to move forward with getting these locs. Everything I researched about Sisterloc, the process and how to find a consultant, she did everything by the book. It took a total of 24 hours in the span of three days to it, but Frances was so personable, our conversations went by on so much that the time didn't phase me. I personally did not feel any discomfort when getting them install, my scalp was just a bit itchy after she completed a bug section, other than that, I was very pleased with my experience with her. I was very impressed in the fact that she did not at all pressure me in anyway to schedule my appointment to install them right away let alone hire her to do my locs. Her shop was very clean, her other two stylist were well mannered and skillful. There are street parking with meters but there was alway a spot readily available. If you don't want to pay for meter parking, there residential street parking close by

Came in as a walk in on a busy Saturday, Angel got right to working on removing a dip set I had done at another shop and wasn’t happy with. Beautiful shop, clean and great selection of polish/dip colors.
Had the pleasure of sitting at Jessicas work bench she took such care in prepping, cleaning up my cuticles, shaping and applying the dip powder to give a beautiful finish without it being misshapen and thick.
Made sure to book my next visit for mani and pedi before I left.

Beautiful place as well as clean. I came here to get a pedicure and made an appointment on Mother's Day weekend. They took me in 5 minutes before my appointment and it was extremely busy. They did a great job on my nails. I would come back. The only downfall is when you call it's a cell phone. I had to call several times before someone picked up. Great place though

Anne doesn't a great job!!!! She cut my hair over 30 years ago, I found her again by accident after leaving Yonkers and I came down to her 2 times so she can cut my hair! She is worth the hour drive!

Emily was so sweet, funny, and informative! I told her all of my concerns - and the crazy things I’ve tried for my skin - and she was so understanding and validating. I voiced liking some of the products I already use and even the ones she hadn’t heard of she literally researched them on the spot and gave me her honest feedback. She helped me figure out what I could keep, what might not be serving me, and suggested just a few targeted additions based on my skin’s actual needs. She did NOT push me to buy products, but instead reiterated the importance of keeping the routine simple, effective, and consistent for best results. Going into the facial, my biggest concern was texture. Emily explained that a major contributor - for me - was actually dehydration. Even though she explained it, I was skeptical. However, I decided to trust her process, and I’m so glad I did — because I walked out GLOWING like a glazed donut even after she went IN on the extractions! It’s the next morning and I’m still glowing — my skin feels so good I almost don’t want to touch it. However, one of the biggest things she taught me is that consistency is key, especially when it comes to the hydration my skin needs. So instead of skipping my routine, I’m choosing to honor the results by continuing to care for my skin with the same love and intention. This glow deserves to be nourished. Note: Her attention to detail was great — especially during the dermaplaning. She was so precise and intentional and even kept the tool nearby in case she noticed a spot that needed a final pass later on. She was fully present and committed to giving my skin exactly what it needed in every moment.

I had to share my experience. Shakera made my pride and confidence in my feet come back. I suffered from a damage toe years ago. I never felt comfortable or confident with my foots appearance, so I never wore sandals. Today I took a chance again. I've had pedicures before but never to the level of someone taking the time to examine my foot, walk me through the steps of what they were going to do and taking their time. Had an issue on the weekend and Aldo was extremely helpful through the process. He arrived first thing on Sunday morning replacing the main water valve and pressure control valve. Aldo is extremely responsive and has a great amount of knowledge which is displayed in his workmanship.
Samba was extremely helpful when when our hot water heater unexpectedly burst. He is both extremely fastidious in his work and honest in his business. I wholeheartedly trust MC Drain & Plumbing with all our plumbing emergencies, as it is increasingly difficult to find skilled, reliable support. I have made arrangements for him to take over my annual boiler servicing contract as well, over a company I previously used for 20+ years. Brian set up the plumbing for my washer and dryer in my co-op on a Thursday. That Saturday when I went to wash clothes the water wasn't running into the washer. Somehow the switch in the back of the washer was turned off. Brian came to my apartment on Saturday, climbed back to the back of washer and turned on the valve. Then helped me set up the washer/dryer on my phone. He was so helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.

I am really pleased with the work completed by All Pro Sewer & Drain Inc. I had a leak in my house but couldn't figure out where it was coming from. They arrived very quickly to assist with stopping the water from flooding my basement. The knowledgeable team located the leak inside the wall and fixed it. I was so relieved they were able to repair the leak so quickly. Without a doubt, I will continue to use their services and recommend them to everyone.

We were looking at different kitchen fixtures and were unable to find anything we liked. We had used Mase electric in the past and were very satisfied with their work. I called Mase for some suggestions and spoke with Janessa. She was so accommodating in explaning the different types of fixtures and gave us some suggestions as to what we might like. After researching further we decided on a fixture. I called Janessa and set up an appointment for 9:00 am the next day. At precisely 9:00am two electricians (Rubin and Balwin) were at our front door. I can not say enough about how professional, polite and how careful they were during the installation. We will definitely used Mase in the future.

Chem -Dry was nothing short of incredible. I had 2 areas that had what I thought were intractable cat urine and Ryan and his son came back multiple times free of charge after the first visit and kept trouble shooting until both areas had absolutely no odor remaining. Ryan responded immediately to my texts and always showed up promptly. He and his team were absolute gems.

Most recently, I worked with Pete to replace the wood flooring in my condominium. It looked great, even, and doesn’t squeak. They also continued the wood flooring into my kitchen (which previously had a tile floor).
At my request, the team also installed an extra thick acoustical underlayment which not only helped with sound absorption, but makes the floor softer to walk on.

I’ve been seeing Dr Harvey for the last 8 months or so & he has helped me more than any other physical therapist, or chiropractor. He takes the time to figure out what is wrong and why. He doesn’t make shortcuts & truly cares about your overall wellbeing. His prices are fair and he won’t have you come back for another adjustment if it’s not necessary. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Harvey for any chiropractic needs.
Dr. Jacobs is professional, personable and understanding. I came to her office with extreme back and neck pains, I walked out in a lot less pain and feeling optimistic about my pains issues. Long story short I am now able to walk on the treadmill for over 30 minutes without pain, I am able to bend down to tie my shoes. I am able to perform basic household chores without stopping and taking pills that will make you sleepy or unmotivated. I have stop popping painkillers, she has changed my life. Her staff is friendly, attentive and kind. I have been to chiropractors before, however Dr. Jacobs listens to her patients in order to make a difference in their physical health. Great job, in creating an atmosphere where you patients feel comfortable and confident in the care that they are receiving!

I took Genevieve's Hot Yin Yoga class and it was phenomenal! I never heard of Yin Yoga before, but now I'm keeping this particular class in my rotation. One class session and all of my problems are solved- literally better than a deep tissue massage. Her voice, the music, the ambiance, everything- this class is ideal for people of all levels.
