“We have been going to Kwon’s in Roslyn for a couple of years now and even though Great Neck is littered with martial arts schools, we chose to trek out to Kwon’s in Roslyn because of Master DK’s teaching style on positive reinforcement, attention to focus and details, and most importantly, challenging kids to push beyond their limits and understanding what true grit is. Now that Kwon’s opened a studio in Great Neck, that dreaded 40 min drive in rush hour traffic from GN to Roslyn has been trimmed to a 10 min drive with intimate smaller class sizes. Coach Joe is amazing with kids and both of my children look forward to going to their weekly taekwondo class.”
