Next, they put down the new carpet. I didn't pick the fanciest carpet, but you would not know that to look at it. They did *Such* a pro job. My landlord saw it a few days after and he was Thrilled! “Edwin was punctual and extremely professional. My marble bathrooms were neglected for over 20 years. Grout was missing in the shower floors in addition to most corners. The existing grout was black and there were stains in multiple places. Now the bathrooms look close to new. Grout is back to its original color and stains were either eliminated or much, much paler than they were before.
Edwin was very meticulous and my house was cleaner than before he arrived! Cannot recommend highly enough.“

“My contact with Color-age started with ordering samples of carpet for my L-shaped living/dining room. After narrowing down the samples to my first, second and third choices, I made an appointment to see Doris at the store in New Hyde Park. I also needed to paint the walls before the carpet was installed and I wanted all the work finished before my new furniture arrived. I had samples of my sofa and chair material and Doris helped me coordinate the carpet and paint colors with excellent suggestions. Then someone came to my house to measure for the carpeting and give me a quote for the paint job, the price of which I found to be on target with today's marketplace. Their painter, Miguel, did a fabulous job on the painting, as well as the prep beforehand, which included some crown molding needing repair and a wall in my hallway that needed fixing. He was fast, neat, and very courteous. Then the carpet people came with a crew of 5 men and the carpet was installed quickly. All-in-all I had a very good experience with this company and would use them again.“
