Cool gym in Rockaway Beach. The machines crowd the floor a bit, but it is manageable and there is a separate room where one can do floor exercises. No screamers. Lockers and showers available, you bring your own lock and soap. And yes, you can safely drop the soap.

I had a great experience with Racks Driving School Far Rockaway and highly recommend them to anyone learning to drive for the first time. The owner is incredibly responsive—he gets back to emails quickly and is always clear and helpful when it comes to scheduling lessons and discussing pricing.
Both the owner and JT are very down-to-earth and provide outstanding customer service. JT, in particular, was an amazing instructor. He was patient, took the time to explain everything in detail, and never made me feel rushed or frustrated—even when I made the same mistakes more than once. His teaching style really helped build my confidence behind the wheel.
Another thing I appreciated was the convenience—pickup for each lesson was always quick and smooth. JT also gives great advice, like saving your final lesson for the day of your road test, which I definitely recommend doing. Driving for about 45 minutes beforehand is also a great way to warm up and work through any last-minute issues.
Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone starting their driving journey.

I attended the Yoga for Your Best Sleep Ever Event On Wednesday, May 22nd 2024, at 6:30 pm the Instructor Narisara Is fantastic it was a full class the class was comfortable & relatable. I was able to pick up great techniques to help unwind after a busy day at work, so I will be able to achieve best sleep ever

He gives great computer advice if you're looking to shop for something new, helps with set up and recovery (photos, music.. etc) and overall makes any computer work better than new. I wouldn't call anyone else. Scott's computer repair has been number one in Rockaway for almost a decade!
I called this business with a ton of questions regarding my furnace’s current status, and to inquire about costs for replacement and repairs. Adam spoke to me for twenty minutes answering each question, and provided excellent advice. He was very professional and honest. I have called countless other businesses nearby, and none of them compare. I will definitely use Adam for my furnace repair/replacement.

Absolutely the best barbershop in Rockaway Park. Great Owner , great staff...always a great haircut, enjoyable conversation and prices are very reasonable. Want your hair to look great from kids to seniors I have never seen anyone leave unhappy! A barbershop that knows it's stuff

I called to see if they accept the walk-ins and the young lady who answered the phone was very kind and told me yes we do. I then decided to take a peek into the salon to see if they could do something with my hair length. I spoke with Jessica on the phone and meeting her in person she is equally as pleasant. Ruth was there as well and very kind. She washed out my hair beautifully. I recommend anybody who has any questions, or doubts regarding their hair or any of inquiries to definitely take a minute and come to this salon. Jessica is articulate, patient, honest and is willing to instruct you on exactly how to take care of your hair, how to blow it out. I especially enjoyed their tenacity for the work that they truly enjoy doing. They have a very good work ethic, bedside manner and very family orientated. By the time you leave, as a customer I felt at least I knew these ladies for a long time LOL that's how comfortable they make you feel. I will definitely be back. Thank you Jessica and Ruth it was so nice meeting you. I look forward to seeing you again.

It’s such a relaxing atmosphere and they all treat you like family.
