Hot Yoga Rockaway Beach

I started hot yoga in February of 2023. Since then I have stuck to a weekly practice, I've lost 40 lbs putting me at 162 lbs and I no longer need medication to keep my blood pressure down. I no longer struggle with gout and yoga helps me manage the bursitis in my elbows and gives me peace of mind. I am so grateful to my teachers Anita Ruderman and Dana Humphrey for restoring my health and vitality. Hot Yoga Rockaway Beach is good for my mind body and soul.

Although I have only been coming to Hot Yoga Rockaway Beach for just over two weeks and have been a member for half as long, it already feels like home. When you think of home, you think of warmth, a judgment-free place, and a place you can be yourself. Anita, the staff, and the patrons engender those sentiments and foster an accessible environment where individuals can learn and grow their yoga practice. I am happy to be a member of this vibrant yoga studio.

HYRB, Anita, and her staff are an absolute essential part of life here on the Rock. I have been attending classes off and on for 10 years and finally made committed to a regular practice. In just a month I have noticed the difference and feel great! I especially enjoy practicing with fellow yogis all who come from diverse backgrounds but we share this space and encourage each other because that's the tone an vibe the owner and instructors has created for us.HYRB is a welcoming space filled with laughter and love.
