He removed massive polyps in my nose with little discomfort and gave me great care with follow up appointments. I look forward to seeing Dr. John, Bethany, Danielle and the office staff at every appointment.“

560 White Spruce Blvd, Rochester“Dr. Maggio is an excellent physician, who cares about his patients. His professional assistants are top-notch as well. I've had no issues with appointments, and the one time I visited an urgent care facility for a relatively minor matter on a weekend, his office called on Monday to make sure I was okay.
I don't know that I agree with the complaints about getting an appointment on short notice. It's true of all practices, in my experience, and the simple solution is to visit an urgent care center.“

260 Calkins Rd, Rochester“What an outstanding facility. Every staff member is courteous, polite, and exceptionally helpful. They go out of their way to answer any and all questions a veteran may have and provide clear direction. Community Care has also been fantastic.
When I requested to see a dermatologist around May, the on-site dermatologist was booked until October. They promptly offered and scheduled me with a civilian dermatologist, even though it was some distance away. Fortunately, this facility added a dermatologist to their staff and contacted me to offer an earlier appointment. They booked me for July to see the staff dermatologist.
Dr. Ward and his team are phenomenal and extremely responsive. You can message them with any questions and receive prompt replies, or reach them by phone. You can also contact Community Care directly, and they will work with your doctor to coordinate care outside the facility when needed.
You just have to ask and be your own advocate, because only you know what services you need and how pressing your treatment is.
Regarding dental care, I have had severe issues involving tooth loss due to bayonet training at the School of Infantry at Camp Pendleton decades ago with significant structural damage that required several bone grafts. It has been a drawn-out process spanning nearly two and a half years, largely due to prior administration decisions that redirected VA funding. However, once DOGE initiatives were implemented in the VA systems, as a matter of FACT the very next day after DOGE was widely reported to enter VA systems to weed out the “financial redistribution of funds” I no longer received the response of “it’s a finance committee decision.” They scheduled me right away. From that point forward, Dr. Dawly promptly scheduled me and referred me to staff oral surgeon Dr. Lee and her very personable technician, Michelle. Dr. Lee has skillfully performed numerous procedures including removing a n entire nerve from the entire roof of my mouth, with a few more scheduled before I receive my prosthetic tooth. The receptionist who sits at the front desk, Michelle is also incredibly kind and efficient. Donna the dental hygienist is also so personable and takes her time doing the cleanings never a rush job.
In essence I truly cannot put into words how wonderful all the staff are. Including administrative staff who are also so respectful, polite and very helpful but also the facility vibe is just very homely not industrial. A very quiet, efficient and friendly medical facility. Their pharmacy is also equally efficient in filling prescriptions while you wait.
I truly feel at home here, unlike at a typical medical facility. As a Top 10% (according to Google) Google Maps Contributor, I highly recommend this VA facility for the excellent care and support provided to veterans.“

2345 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester“Have gone here for many years and always get excellent service. The eye exam is thorough and Dr. Ellemeyer always spends enough time with me to explain tests and results. The office staff is friendly and efficient. The frames and glasses are expensive but you get what you pay for. Had additional frames/lenses made at Americas Best and the difference in the quality is amazing. Reeds is the best!“
“Much shorter review on Google because I wrote it laying in your hospital bed, so here goes... 12/25 I broke my ankle in Hornell and was sent here the following morning. I had many high and low moments At my lowest, the ER nurses, 7th floor nurses and 7th floor patient care techs all cheered me up and wished me well. Many of the 7th floor staff who saw me struggling and comforted me with amazing bedside manner also watched me do PT and I'm pretty sure I saw some smiles like they were thinking, "I knew he could do it." Thank you for your staff but also for the reassurance. ❤️“

You come out of the sleep test after maybe an hour sleep, they kick you out at 5am and expect you to drive safely home. The math doesn't add up to me. Gorgeous facility though with outstanding staff members. I would recommend this medical campus.“
