“I have nothing but great things to say about Overstock Flooring and Ben, the manager. He is enthusiastic about helping customers and gets products to contractors and DIY folks and home renovators like me as expeditiously as possible.

I shopped in all of the “usual” stores, looking for luxury vinyl tile that wasn’t planks and that didn’t try to look like wood, but looked like marble instead. Don’t be fooled when the big box stores tell you they have a good-looking, similar product. They do not. I found it with Overstock and could not find it anywhere else.

“You need to add this place to your choices of tile selections. They have full-size, single tiles for purchase that you can take home. If it doesn't turn out to be what you want, you can return it if it's not damaged. In our opinion, this is the largest selection of tile you'll ever see in your life. Many staff walking around to assist too. Prices are very comparable if not better than other nearby stores. Yes, we did make a couple of purchases right then and placed an order for pickup, which will be in soon. (We needed more than what was on the shelf. They handled locating more and got it ordered for us.) Yes, they have more than tile, they have flooring of all kinds, and some bathroom faucets and sinks. We have not checked those out in detail yet, but we have plans to! Normally, I have pictures to post, but we were too busy looking at tile, and I forgot to take any. Go and be amazed for yourself.“

Three days later, a blue print and a contract detailing the work to be performed, materials to be included, a price and an attainable completion date. Followed by two weeks of beautiful, quality workmanship. Project completed on time and cleanup was meticulous. Followed by very happy customers. This is how all remodeling projects should go. “Second time using Rochester Hardwood Floor.

My home has the original narrow plank hardwoods. The floors are over 60 years old. Rochester Hardwood, literally has made them look brand new! Their work is consistently good. Two years ago, I had the floors on the main level refinished, and last month I had the 2nd floor floors refinished. I’m amazed at how well the floors turn out.

The only reason for not giving a perfect 5 star review: the shoe molding trim really takes a beating and in several areas there was polyurethane splashed up on my walls and trim.

Otherwise- couldn’t be happier with how beautiful the floors turned out.“

“Quality Carpets is THE BEST! From the moment we walked in Kim took great care of us. She's a bit of a character which just served to make a normally draining process fun. She listened to our needs and made some great recommendations. We were given a preliminary estimate and a gentleman came over to measure... and the price actually went down a little. Our carpet came in on time and they worked around our schedule for installation. The installers (company men, not subcontractors) were fantastic. They ripped out the old carpet, laid the pad and new carpet and cleaned up in about 2 hours for a fairly large room. Support local. Kim and Quality Carpets does it right!“
