Almost twenty years ago my sister would get her saxophone reeds here, and now I'm lucky enough to take music lessons here myself! The painted instruments they have as decorations are so beautiful and creative, and the music nerd in me loves all the different posters they have up. Everyone who works up front is so relaxed and accommodating, as well as knowledgeable. I myself take uke lessons, and am having a fantastic time. I'd previously gone to a place closer to me, but Family Melody is way better. I'm learning music theory and science on top of learning to play new songs, and my instructor is so patient, receptive and easy to get along with. Family Melody is a gem of Patchogue, not to mention adjacent to some very tasty restaurants! Would recommend to any musician of any age!“
