Another important piece in the amazing town of Patchogue! I know people who have been going here for years. Almost twenty years ago my sister would get her saxophone reeds here, and now I'm lucky enough to take music lessons here myself! The painted instruments they have as decorations are so beautiful and creative, and the music nerd in me loves all the different posters they have up. Everyone who works up front is so relaxed and accommodating, as well as knowledgeable. I myself take uke lessons, and am having a fantastic time. Had a mishap with my flute that required immediate attention. Plus I had a tenor sax neck that needed new cork. Called Family Melody Centers and spoke to Nick the resident woodwind repairman. When I got there, found Family Melody Centers is a state-of-the-art repair facility (it's been years since I been here). Nick was able to see me right away. Everyone there is friendly. While my flute and sax neck was worked on, I checked out the store and also purchased a neat little music manuscript book for my student. Fair price. Came here after moving to suffolk county as my usual repair man is now too far away. Took a chance off a reccomendation from a friend and very glad I followed through. Special shout out to their woodwind repair person Nick. I got both alto and baritone saxes overhauled and they play better than when I got them now! Very reasonable pricing. Would highly reccomend
