“Brought my 102-year old tenor sax in for some repairs and maintenance a couple of months ago. They treated it with expert care, and at 1/4 the cost of an estimate I got elsewhere.
She may be showing her age, but she plays and sounds beautiful!”
“I was pleased and relieved when my 4-year-old son started piano lessons with Phoebe. She is truly incredible with young children. She is patient and encouraging. I see how she makes learning fun and engaging for him. He is excited to hear the sounds he can make and playing the songs he learned. Phoebe is extremely knowledgeable and meticulous with technique. I've already seen such progress in his playing. Highly recommend!”
“We had an outstanding experience with The Long Island Violin Shop! From start to finish, their customer service was exceptional, and they were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process of selecting the right instrument.
We recently purchased a Hiroshi Kono violin for our son, and we couldn't be happier. The difference in sound compared to his previous instrument is remarkable—rich, warm, sweet, and full of character. Our son has truly enjoyed playing it, and it's been exciting to hear the depth and beauty it brings to his music.
We also purchased a BAM case, which is both beautiful and exceptionally well made.
We are so grateful for the guidance, expertise, and care we received. It is clear that they are passionate about helping musicians find instruments they will love. We highly recommend The Long Island Violin Shop and would not hesitate to work with them again in the future!
