Our family has been coming to Sterling Optical for over 10 years. They have handled the eye exams for all three of our children, including the often-difficult process of learning to use contact lenses. I got my first contact lenses today and can’t say enough good things about Dr. Suzette. I’m very squeamish and came in to learn how to put them in and take them out. Suzette explained and modeled every step so clearly and offered alternatives based on my hand shape when I had trouble with one approach to removing them. Because of my nerves it took me over 2 hours, a lunch break, and then a return in the afternoon to successfully take them out. In over 3 hours, she didn’t show even an ounce of impatience or frustration and didn’t rush me at all. Today I dropped into Sterling Optical to see if I could have my sunglasses tightened. They’ve been falling down my nose constantly for a couple of years now and of course the heat in summer makes it worse. When I came in I was greeted warmly by Suzette and she was able to schedule a fitting with Steve in only 30 minutes. He was able to quickly fix my sunglasses. Now they sit perfectly on my nose and no slippage! Why didn’t I do this years ago? And when I offered to pay, Suzette told me it would be no charge!
