“Michael and the team at Barn Raisers are amazing. I bought a shed in the spring and converted it into a chicken COOP. Michael chatted with me for a while on the different options and I wanted to be able to get inside, have space to build out the inside for food storage and chicken things. This winter we had to move our free range ladies into a run because they were being murdered, I called him with my idea and within a few short weeks a run showed up. Exactly what I was wanting and expecting. He also had my previous order on file, so he was able to match the color and my budget. The ladies are loving their space. They go above and beyond in addition to ensuring you have what you want and need. It's not about making the extra dollar, it's about getting it right, listening to your needs and going from there. Michael also has a huge heart and I've worked with him a ton over the years on projects like Ulster leadership development institute, youth leadership programming and helping us stock KHS with hygiene products for our schools and working with youth on financial lit. ? This was the reason why we bought from him in the first place, honestly though, I'll be a repeat costumer over and over because they will never fail on their customer service and support. “Luke of Lakeside was fantastic, and I couldn’t recommend him more. The heater in the bathroom had been leaking water for years and rotted out the whole floor(he didn’t do the original work). He laid out all the work that needed to be taken care of, gave us spot on solid estimates and came in right on budget, now extra BS. He worked fast and got the job done right and fixed all the bad work that had been done. Any work he couldn’t do he referred us to a great carpenter and they work super well together.I call him whenever there’s an issue, and couldn’t recommend him more. He’s a solid dude and enjoy working with him, two thumbs up.“

“Jeff Toland / Toland Construction is a great craftsman and cares about quality work. He is honest, gives quotes that are reasonable and does the work on time. The workmanship is first rate and he is a great communicator. You need to see his portfolio of projects that he has done over the past 35 years in Cold Spring, Beacon, NYC, etc., to get a sense of how devoted he is to his customers and the quality of his work. He has numerous great referrals. Note: there is a customer on here who gave a really negative review and I think from the looks of it that you should not pay any attention to it. I've had nothing but good experiences with Jeff. Instead, I think you should call Jeff for an estimate, speak with him and judge for yourself. You'll be quite pleased you did-- he's a great contractor and person.“
“Got my stunning frameless shower doors about 5 years ago. Absolutely stunning doors and they care about the work they do for you. The best is they back up their work, if you have an issue, they are there to check it out. My issues had nothing to do with the shower doors or installation, but had to do with the other guys who remodeled bathroom for me. If you want reliability, honesty - trust me, this is the place. I realized I forgot to comment years ago when he did the wonderful job for me.“
