“First time customer. Our boiler went out during the night, freezing temperatures. I called Richard’s and they sent Michael A to assist me the very next morning. He came and did a tune up and filter change but unfortunately since our oil tank is outdoors with temperature dropping, he found ice build up in oil line also ice build up at the tank. He suggested I put an electric heater by it and let the sun hit it before he returned in hopes it thaws it out. Michael then had other houses to attend to in the meantime, he didn’t return until later that night (understandable) but kept me updated at different hours if he was running late, finishing up a call, on his way and when he arrived. He returned as promised, and finished the rest of the work within 45 minutes! We rent this home so I was stressing out like crazy, even got worried I had already paid and signed off even though the work was half done. But Michael made me feel at ease and like I could trust him. He kept his word just as he reassured me. Michael was very polite, informative and knowledgeable! Thank you for your service. Will continue to use your services for future tune ups and will request Michael. We all were able to finally rest, along with my puppies. “We have been using State Utilities for COD Oil Delivery for years! Last night had an issue with our boiler & left a message for an Emergency call. The gentleman Mike called us within 10 minutes & since the boiler was working when push the reset button we decided to wait until the morning! At 8am this morning Al the service tech was at the door for the repair. He advised didn’t think there was anything wrong with it but just needed to be serviced-which he did & what a difference-so quiet again & working as expected! He was polite, professional & left the job site clean! Highly recommend-didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need! I called the office & paid by Credit Card & done! All were very professional & very satisfied by the experience which I thought was going to be a nightmare! Thank you State Utilities!“
