Emily was so sweet, funny, and informative! I told her all of my concerns - and the crazy things I’ve tried for my skin - and she was so understanding and validating. I voiced liking some of the products I already use and even the ones she hadn’t heard of she literally researched them on the spot and gave me her honest feedback. She helped me figure out what I could keep, what might not be serving me, and suggested just a few targeted additions based on my skin’s actual needs. She did NOT push me to buy products, but instead reiterated the importance of keeping the routine simple, effective, and consistent for best results. Going into the facial, my biggest concern was texture. Emily explained that a major contributor - for me - was actually dehydration. Even though she explained it, I was skeptical. However, I decided to trust her process, and I’m so glad I did — because I walked out GLOWING like a glazed donut even after she went IN on the extractions! It’s the next morning and I’m still glowing — my skin feels so good I almost don’t want to touch it. However, one of the biggest things she taught me is that consistency is key, especially when it comes to the hydration my skin needs. So instead of skipping my routine, I’m choosing to honor the results by continuing to care for my skin with the same love and intention. This glow deserves to be nourished. Note: Her attention to detail was great — especially during the dermaplaning. She was so precise and intentional and even kept the tool nearby in case she noticed a spot that needed a final pass later on. She was fully present and committed to giving my skin exactly what it needed in every moment.“

The decor is beautiful and the place sets a calm and relaxing setting. They offer facials, manicure and pedicure, lashes, make up etc. The prices are reasonable compared to other places. She also provides her customers with free snacks and drinks. If you are ever in the bronx area or closer to Mt Vernon as this place boarders Mt Vernon please check her out. “The ends of my nails were not covered with polish properly (I can still see my bare nail), which makes me fear it will start chipping sooner. They didn't "seal" the tip of the nail with color. And parts of the tips are rough and do not have sheen to it. Overall the cuticle cleaning went well and it makes my nails look neater.“

“The vast majority of my first experience with Alexia the Nail Concierge was absolutely 5- star! From her DAMN GREAT natural nail polish job, to her helping me find where I was in the parking lot- it was one of, if not, the best mani-pedi experience of my life.
1) I've never had a regular polish job (no acrylic, no gel, no dip- nothing but me & polish) last a week and keep going, with no chipping. And I've had a BBQ, daily cooking, cleaning, and a rambunctious 7 year old... my nails still look great.
2) The one-at-a-time service makes you feel special, esp. when Alexia turns out the lights and turns up the jazz for you massages- Relaxation Bliss!
My only gripe was that I would have wanted a bit more exfoliation from the tool used for the waterless pedicure. But that just means I have to ask for more at my next visit ;-)
