“My family was moving into an apartment in estate condition that needed a lot of work which had to happen quickly, as in 6 weeks from closing to moving in. Kenny worked with us to get work started immediately after we closed. His initial bid beat other contractors and as the job continued, he kept beating everyone else's bids as he took on more and more work. Kenny stayed on budget and was not only able to get the original work done on time, but even got the additional work completed too. Our scope of work started with refinishing the floors, removing popcorn ceilings, putting a new skim coat, and painting the whole apartment, in the kitchen, replacing flooring, cabinets, and lighting fixtures, and at the last minute we added work on the bathroom replacing the floors, replacing tiles on the walls, a new inset medicine cabinet mirror, toilet, vanity, and shower door. Throughout the process, Kenny and his team were in every day, managed subcontractors, and worked with us to find the best fixtures and materials so we could keep the project on track. Anytime we had questions or concerns they addressed them. We are incredibly happy we hired Kenneth Kohler and Metropolitan Painting & Contracting, we would hire them again and highly recommend them.“

They took great care to be sure that the work was done properly and the results were perfect and they were the neatest contractors with whom I have ever worked -- there was nothing to clean up when they finished! They truly treated our home as if it was their own. When they were done, it was almost impossible to tell where the air conditioners had been both inside and outside. “G&M Construction Group of NY has completed two different projects for me, and we are about to begin a third.They have rebuilt an entire garage and deck, as well as replaced the windows, siding, and front door(s) on my home. They installed lighting as needed and mitigated any small problems that arose quickly. They have updated the front porch as well.As they sided my home, they removed thousands of pounds of stucco and repaired damage that we were unaware of before siding began. Phil and his team made what was a could have been a very stressful situation calm and easy to work through.Phil is attentive to his clients, present at worksites, and is a very capable problem solver. He demonstrates the ability to present multiple ideas to fit within any budget. His team is respectful and clean, professional and timely. G&M Construction Group does outstanding work; they are highly recommended, and we will absolutely use them again as we continue upgrading our home.“
