“Ahmed Construction NYC Inc did a fantastic job restoring the exterior brickwork and steps of our home. Before selecting his company, I researched and met with several masonry contractors. From the initial estimate visit through final completion, he was clear and knowledgeable. He explained the technical differences between the sand and mortar mixes, the curing process, and the exact timeline.
The project was a major undertaking. Our original 1960s stone steps were crumbling, and the joints around our brickwork were deteriorating. It took a few weeks during the peak of summer. Ahmed’s crew completed a full replacement of the steps alongside complete repointing work. Once everything cured, they applied a protective sealant to all surfaces.
In addition to the masonry, they scraped and repainted our handrailings and window guards. They then power-washed the area to eliminate years of accumulated dirt and mold.
The crew was exceptional. They were dependable, punctual, and adapted well to the changing summer weather. They cleaned the site at the end of every day and used filtration systems to keep the dust down.
The pricing was very fair, the job wrapped up right on schedule, and the craftsmanship is excellent. If we have future repairs on our house, Ahmed will be my first call. I included some before-and-after photos to show the actual results.”
