I was recommended to The Look Salon from a good friend. Doreen, the owner was really friendly and beautiful job on my highlights and haircut! She took her time, listened to everything I wanted, and I never felt rushed. We were in and out of the salon within 2 1/2 hours which was phenomenal. My daughter had her hair done, with I believe Jackie, (haircut & blowout) and it was beautiful as well. They make their own hair color and products that are healthier. Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere…The only bummer was that they are a $-pricier-$ salon ?. This only means that I can’t get there as often as we would like to.
We will be back.
Jerry is not only amazing at his craft but truly a wonderful human being. I had a dent on the rear passenger door of my brand-new car in a tricky spot, and Jerry had it completely fixed within two days of my initial phone call. He even went above and beyond to accommodate me with an appointment outside of his regular schedule and took care of the repair right at my home in just an hour.
I had no prior knowledge or experience with paintless dent removal, but I 100% landed in the right hands. Jerry’s professionalism, kindness, and execution were top-tier. I never write reviews but I genuinely can’t recommend him enough.
Maria is amazing! I go for a massage and it’s like a dream. The level of relaxation is fantastic. However, if you have knots that need more pressure she’s your girl! I love the atmosphere and Maria is a doll. Always on time! I think it should be mandatory that everyone get a massage at least once a month. My thoughts really are once a week !!!!Amazing experience. Nice short trail but the parking lot desperately needs to be maintained. It should be leveled and properly graveled or preferably paved. Currently it's very uneven.

Suffolk County Cleaning have done an excellent job cleaning our company's floors. They are responsive on the phone and through email whenever we have a question, and have always responded in a friendly, courteous manner.
This is going to be a long review, so, buckle up.
My boys took TKD at Chris Gates TKD Center from 2016-2022. In those 7 years, they earned countless stripes and belts, including their Junior Black Belts. Yes, it's been a while since they've attended a class here, but I am inspired to leave this review.
TKD and Boy Scouts were always "non-negotiables" in our household, meaning our sons (now 14 and 16) could drop any other sport/activity they wanted except these two. We loved the morals/teachings of these two programs as they aligned with our family's values. To date, both boys are still in BS with our older son getting ready for Eagle.
When our boys first started TKD they were 4 and 7. The 4 yr old was the tiny, feisty one while the older one was a gentle, old soul. The older one sometimes got picked on because he was an easy target. He never wanted to "fight back" despite being of size and ability because he never wanted to get either himself or the other child in trouble. All it took was a couple of good talks from instructors like Sir Chris, Sir Joe, Sir James, Sir John, and Sir Bryan to boost his confidence and defend himself. After the first time he stood up to a bully, he was emotionally and mentally able to defend himself and his little brother any time something arose in the future.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, December 2024. My younger son has recently started playing hockey. He's on a travel team and says it's his favorite sport despite only being on this team for 3 months. There has been a few physical altercations with one player attacking other players. Each time this happened, my son was the one to step in and break up the fighting. Two weeks ago, this one boy had another in a headlock. The victim couldn't breathe and his nose started bleeding. My son was the ONLY teammate to step in and get the bully off the victim. Once he got him off and calmed them down (lots of screaming, punches, scratches, etc.), he sat the boys down and got both sides of the story. The bully even started verbally assaulting two other boys and my son got him to stop. A coach finally came into the locker room to handle the situation. My son was worried because he knows there's zero tolerance for fighting and kept saying, "I'm sorry, but I had to. I had to get [bully] off [victim]."
The next day I received two phone calls. One from the mom of the physical victim and one from the mom of the verbal victim, both thanking my son for saving [name] and if it weren't for my son, the outcome could've been much worse because that bully was not stopping despite the victim losing consciousness and bleeding.
When I spoke with my son, he kept apologizing again. I said, "Do not apologize, we ALWAYS stand up to the bullies and fight for the victims. You are a black belt in TKD and it's taught you to defend yourself and others when the time comes." My son said "Thank G-d I'm a black belt because [bully] wasn't stopping and [victim] couldn't get out of that chokehold." I said he saved [victim's] life because who knows what could've happened if you didn't stop him.
THIS is what TKD teaches! You don't instigate the fight, but, the physical, emotional, mental training you receive will allow you to stand up to those who want to cause harm. During the 7 years my boys were at Chris Gates, they learned discipline, perseverance, courageousness, etc. and these are the principles are now carried with them years later. Yes, we raised them with these values, but, this CHTKD reinforced our familial values. Without those years with Chris, Joe, John, James, Bryan, Charles, Juliana, Heidi, Steph, Aidan, (and so many others I'm sure I'm forgetting), I don't know if my boys would have the courage, valor, and fearlessness to navigate this crazy world.

I've been a good customer since they opened, brought friends with me and gave many of their gift certificates out. I've been fairly satisfied with the service , especially when the owner Jack is in and does my nails. I've been ill and haven't been back in over a month, so my gel nails have grown or broken off. I wasn't so happy the last time, had to remind lady to be sure to do my cuticles & and nails were crooked ! I'm disappointed because, I was enthusiastic about them. I did develop a fungus on one nail, which never happened to me in my life ! It's a competitive business and a new salon has opened, even closer to me in walking distance, so I don't have to pay transportation to get there ! They did not offer a massage on one visit, as I asked and they said they were too busy, Yet other customers had one ?? I've been recently hospitalized and issues,so don't know when or if,I'll get back there,if ever ! They are mostly friendly, although,I feel like, I have to cajole them ! They do prefer appointments made, which I always comply! I'm am kind of disappointed at this time . The owner & wife are good technicians,I try to have him do my nails ! He's artistically thorough ! Wish people would respect all ethnicities who are spending their money& increasing their customer base by bringing in people of all types & buying numerous gift certificates ! Oh, well ! People think you don't notice,because,I'm nice & a big tipper ! I'm a usually loyal person, but I'm learning to have my money well spent & appreciated . When you see ,I'm a customer trying to promote your business . Some people's prejudices, DONOT allow them to care ! Sad & disappointing , I repeat !
I’m very happy so far going to new diva nails. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I got a new set 2 weeks ago and a fill in today. The prices are reasonable and they have many colors to choose from. The salon also seems very clean.
Requested style: I showed them a nail style and they replicated it for me.

I LOVED Benji and his crew!!! They just took a maple tree down today. His crew arrived exactly when he said he would be here and they were the most fast and efficient team I’ve ever used. There was zero damage to my property. They took the tree down in record time. They also cleaned the backyard like it never even happened. They also paid a lot of attention to other landscaping that I had and even tied branches back so they wouldn’t break when they took the tree down. I really appreciate the care that this team brought to the job I would definitely recommend and use them again in the future.. my neighbors even texted me to say what a fabulous job they did. In the past, I used a different company that destroyed my lawn and the workers peed all over my backyard. I wish I had known about Benji’s company earlier. Thanks so much:)

We had a few quotes from local contractors on installing a deck and/or patio in our backyard, but none of the designs felt like exactly what we wanted. When Dave and Parker showed up to take a look, they immediately approached the project with an entirely different vision than anyone else had, incorporating natural elementals like boulders and blue stone into the design, and working with the terrain we'd been struggling with by creating a multi-tiered patio that embraced the hill rather than eliminated it.
After some back-and-forth discussions trading ideas and and sizing out the different zones, we came to an agreement and got moving on the project immediately. Just a few days later, the entire crew rolled in and began demo, moving swiftly and efficiently. We expected demo to take a day or two, but the team had actually begun to install the new steps on the first day, and everything was moving along great. The entire project took less than a week to finish, and you can tell that the crew all knew what they were doing and worked well together. Many of them had been with the company for a long time, which was a positive indicator that they brought a specific talent to the jobsite, and that the business took good care of its employees.
The team didn't just bring a solid set of skills and craftsmanship to the job, but also an eye of design and art. Each boulder was placed intentionally to fit the space and match the style, the curves of the patio were freestyled to match the flow of the space, and the stones in the walkway were chosen to fit inside each other and be the perfect distance away for a casual walking pace. They also incorporated a planter box with privacy bushes that we had installed a few years before, when other quotes had suggested ripping them all out. Even though he runs the company, Dave wasn't afraid to hop in an excavator to help out the crew, and they all operated as a well-oiled machine.
If you want to create an outdoor living space that exceeds the standard brick rectangle that your neighbors all put in, for a comparable price, don't hesitate to reach out to the Deck and Patio Company. We were willing to sacrifice a few square feet of patio space in order to create something extremely unique and imaginative. You will be left with an entertaining space that people will fawn over, and once they settle down, never want to leave. The skill, materials and design are all of the utmost quality, and you'll be very happy that you took the chance to install something with such character and quality.
