I was recommended to The Look Salon from a good friend. Doreen, the owner was really friendly and beautiful job on my highlights and haircut! She took her time, listened to everything I wanted, and I never felt rushed. We were in and out of the salon within 2 1/2 hours which was phenomenal. My daughter had her hair done, with I believe Jackie, (haircut & blowout) and it was beautiful as well. They make their own hair color and products that are healthier. Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere…The only bummer was that they are a $-pricier-$ salon 😕. This only means that I can’t get there as often as we would like to.

When I walked into The Look I was a little intimidated by how posh it looked, I was used to low budget places simply furnished. My mom had given me a generous gift card for Christmas for the salon so I was using it to get spruced up for a family wedding. I had called for an appointment a few days before, when I walked in everyone was friendly. I was introduced to Nellie who would be doing my cut, color, eyebrows. With Nellie I got so much more than the salon services, I got a cheerleader! She read right away as someone who wanted simple. Nellie gave a simple cut, it was so beautiful when blown out. It was very easy for me to do and keep it looking great. I only needed a little color around my face and the top of my head. Nellie is an amazing colorist, the color matched perfectly with the rest of my hair, it was just what I was looking for. My eyebrows were absolute mess and Nellie tamed them beautifully! All along Nellie was giving me a great boost of self esteem since I always saw myself as a "Plain Jane." I left the salon beaming, feeling and looking great! I even went back a few days later for a makeup tutorial with Nellie, again she made it so manageable for me. Since the family wedding was out of state, I wouldn't have Nellie to my hair and makeup on the day. Nellie made everything so manageable for me, I was able to hair and makeup myself. I got so many compliments. Thank you, Nellie, you are a love!
