“I was introduced to Fraktel, Troy NY this past year. My oldest son(24yrs old) has been getting his hair done here for years. He referred his younger brother(16yrs old) who is on the spectrum so hes socially awkward and wierd about getting his hair done. As soon as we opened the door to Fraktel, everyone is so nice and very welcoming. Its very clean with a comfortable surrounding. Tyler does my sons hair and he does an amazing job. He is patient and answers any questions we may have. He helps show my son how to style his hair as well. After one visit with Tyler, he's been stepping out of his comfort zone. “I've had the same person cut my hair for twenty years. I had to miss an appointment recently and needed to get my haircut badly. I walked into Dukes on a Wednesday and was able to quickly make an appointment for that Friday. I was not expecting to just walk in and get in right away. On Friday morning I showed up about 15 minutes early. I picked up on a few things immediately. The place was clean and you could see it was a professional operation. It was also busy which was a good sign because that means they have steady business. More importantly everyone was happy. The customers have relationships with the barbers. There was a younger kid who was smiling ear to ear after his haircut. It was very refreshing. My appointment was with Brian Barker. He did an excellent job. He was very friendly and easy to talk too. It wasn't easy having someone else cut my hair after twenty plus years. I can't recommend Dukes enough. It exceeded all of my expectations“
