My mother was a patient at Emerge for about 1 month after significant back surgery. The experience at Emerge was smooth from admission through discharge. Attention to detail for my mothers personal needs was always prioritized from time of therapy to the always offered menu available through guest relations/kitchen. By the time my mother was ready to leave she was walking so much better and was able to heal significantly enough so her pain management needs were considerably less. She still talks about the rehab staff that kept her motivated, engaged and laughing through the tough times as well as the recreation department with their hands on activities and BINGO! We truly believe we would not have had as great an outcome if she did not come to Emerge for surgical aftercare. The relief of having the aides available to assist took the stress mentally and physically off both my mom and myself so that we knew she was in a safe place to recover. Sheri from Social work referred my mom to home care services that was able to provide physical and occupation therapy in the home as well as an aide that was able to help her adjust to her home environment and not be overwhelmed while trying to return to her previous level of function. She now walks independently (with a cane for long distances, rolling walker for really long distances). She can drive, cook, clean, do laundry and spend time with her grandkids once again! But most of all she is thrilled to be pain free and stronger than ever thanks to her amazing surgical team followed by her amazing supportive and strengthening experience at Emerge. She would come back again for any future needs, and she tells all her friends that this is the place to go!

Celebration party rental were great and helped me have the engagement party of my dreams. They delivered the supplies early so I was able to set up my event ahead of time. This allowed me to be more relaxed the day of. Everything was packaged securely and delivered quickly. They communicated with me promptly about the delivery time expectation and picked up when they said they would.

I had a last minute appointment earlier today. I was a little bit late but they still kindly sat me down right away. I asked for a simple fresh set of tips and a french manicure. Lisa recommended a beautiful design and I of course fell in love with it. Lisa paid very close attention to detail and gave me a gorgeous new set. I go to this place since 3 years ago and i just can say amazing this about them! I started getting UV Gel for 2 years and now i go to get Acrylic, and i just love it! I show them any design i want and they do it great! but i normally do french! I highly recommend this place! The picture is a French set that they did 3 weeks ago and they still look amazing!!! I normally go for longer but this time i needed them short.
I have been coming to this salon for over 8 years and I can’t rave about it enough. They do a wonderful job with my green tea pedicures, manicures and all my waxing. They are like family!! Always ask about my kids and how they are doing. Very comfortable and makes you feel right at home.

Best nail salon I have ever been to! I have tried many places in NY and CT and there is not a place better than New Glen Cove Nails. They are welcoming, professional, and extremely talented. Every time I go my powder manicure lasts for 3 weeks and still looks good when I go to get them done again! Best massages and color options too. Price is spot on for the service you are getting!

Several days before my mother's funeral I began to get a rash on my right hand going up my arm and severe pain under several nails with a gel manicure from another location. By afternoon before funeral I was in agony, was meeting with our clergy and my family late in the afternoon, and called numerous salons all afternoon trying to get someone to remove the gel so I could see if that was causing the problem. Every place I called that Wednesday afternoon said they were busy and I needed an appointment, despite explaining my emergency and that I did not need a full appointment, just 15 minutes of someone's time. I was headed to another salon on that road, when I passed Fabulous nails. I parked and walked in and explained my dilemma. I was taken IMMEDIATELY, and 15-20 minutes later the gel nails were off, there were 3 nails that looked like they had mild fungal infections, but I had meds for that in my home and it had not been helping. The morning of the funeral not only was my hand in agony but I had muscle aches especially in my back and I felt awful. Got to the funeral home 1.5 hours early due to no sleep. The hours of funeral and 5 hour round trip to cemetery were hell and I am a terrific off the cuff public speaker, but I did my mother no justice that day, was just too sick. Tried to get a derm appointment at all locations near my brother's house, our next stop, but none available. I stayed with family as long as I could but eventually had to leave early. Did not get to a dermatologist till Saturday. I did have a few fungal infections that have still not fully grown out 3.5 months later, but the agony was from a shingles outbreak developing on my right hand and lower arm! Meds cleared the worst of it up very quickly, some blisters lingered for a month or so. No wonder I was so sick! If I ever have the courage to get a gel manicure again, this is the place I will go. I cannot address all their skills due to my limited experience, but the compassion shown by staff and other customer in the store, and the fast and professional manner in which the offending nails were removed gives me confidence that the practitioners in this salon know what they are doing, are truly kind hearted and I would put my hands and feet, and those of my daughter's at our occasional mother/daughter mani/pedi's, back in their hands! Bravo for compassion and talent, very rare combination in business today!!

Sanjana is one of the most incredible vendors I had the pleasure of working with during my wedding weekend. She is an artist in the truest sense. Every look she created felt completely intentional and distinct, and the pictures honestly speak for themselves. I still look at them and am amazed at how beautifully everything came together.
I think what set her apart is her kindness and warmth. Weddings come with a lot of stress, a lot of last minute timeline changes, location changes, and a LOT of sleep deprivation. I was practically falling asleep in the chair as she was doing my wedding day makeup.
I have so much to thank Sanjana for, but mostly it was bringing an incredible calming, grounding energy to every single moment we spent together. She just genuinely cared not only about the makeup look, but also that me & my family were all enjoying the experience. I honestly look back on our time together as one of my favorite wedding day memories. She is just someone who is a genuinely good person and you can feel that kind, graceful and warm energy around her always.
She is also a perfectionist in the best way. Every detail mattered, and it showed. I actually remember thinking I would trust her with anything creative. I almost want to hire her as a photographer because of how well she captured my makeup looks.
She & her team member Kavita did makeup for my mom, my sister, and me, and we all have completely different skin tones and textures. She balanced each look so perfectly so that everyone looked like themselves, just elevated in the most natural way. That is not easy to do, and she made it look effortless.
We had so many people asking where we got our makeup done throughout the entire event. She is not only incredibly talented, she is a truly special person. I feel so lucky that I got to work with her.
Of course, a huge thank you as well to the lovely and sweet Kavita who was equally kind and did my sister and mom's makeup so flawlessly! I'm so so happy with my decision to hire the SV team.

John was so helpful and knowledgeable about the processes for cleaning some old rugs I had acquired as well as some modern rugs we had at home that had been stained and damaged. He was realistic about repairs that were worth it, or not, and they executed them well. I had no qualms about them handling our rugs and I am only sorry I didn't find them sooner.
