“I am in complete awe of the Laidbytima salon experience. For starters, you’re kindly greeted the moment you walk in - BY EVERYONE. You immediately feel welcomed by the smiles on the staff’s faces. The energy feels organic rather than forced. You’re asked if you’d like tea, coffee, or champagne along with snack options at no additional cost.

When it’s time to get in the chair, the staff takes their time to hear your requests and address any concerns you have. You’re asked if you’re tender headed prior to braiding so that they make sure to work on your scalp with proper care. The braids are the foundation to a perfect sew in and let me tell you - the braids are NOT tight but certainly hold together very well. First time getting a sew in where a headache wasn’t involved in the days to follow.

The sew in? Flat and slayed by magical hands. First time ever I get a sew in where I don’t get pierced by the needle at least once (I was and still am in disbelief).

Tima and her staff make conversations that allow the clients to feel included and heard. Nothing about this experience felt forced or transactional.

When booking a hair appointment I make sure I do thorough research, read reviews, check out client results, the whole nine, and I cannot express the times I’ve been disappointed by poor customer service and an unwelcoming atmosphere.
