“Words cannot express how happy we are with our floors after Anthony and the team at Acme refinished them. We recently bought a 94-year-old house with original red oak hardwoods that had been covered by carpet for ~50 years. The green carpet padding had deteriorated/almost melted into the floor and a number of deep moisture stains had set in (see before pics attached). Acme sanded and refinished our whole house and staircase and they look nearly brand new - I almost cried when I saw them!We got a number of quotes to start and not only are Acme’s prices extremely competitive for the area, but Anthony’s professionalism and customer service is miles ahead of the other companies we spoke to. He took a positive and realistic approach from the start and very clearly laid out our options so that we could make informed decisions about color, finish, etc. We are so grateful for the life and character that Anthony and his team have breathed back into these beautiful floors and we’ll be recommending Acme far and wide!“

“Ordered a carpet through one of the big box stores and had it installed by Olympic Flooring. The men that came to the house were early (which a family with little kids) is great. They were very professional and even interacted a little with my 15 month curious son. Our room is larger that the carpet ordered and we were worried about any seems, my wife got down on the floor and after a few hours still can't find the seem. They cleaned up nicely after themselves and even vacuumed the floor. An absolutely great install, will never use any other installers.“

“We had floors put in by them in 2022, and no fault of their own, but a manufacturing issue with the supplier resulted in some gaps in our floors. Schenectady Flooring came back and did a great job repairing the issues, I think it was Bill and John who came out. I had concerns if it would be even possible at all to fix the problems, but they got it looking perfect again. They have great service and stand behind their work. Definitely use them.“

He spent an enormous amount of time with me on two different occasions helping me choose the best flooring for my two bathroom remodels. Mike is very good with color matching as well and had excellent advice on matching vanity tops. He was so very pleasant, patient, and most importantly so well informed on the various products and colors available. Mike made what would normally be a challenging process for me so much easier. “This review is about the excellent customer service that I received when I stopped by the store today. I was looking for a retro refrigerator that I saw online and couldn't find at my local store. In fact, my local store told me that there were none at any Home Depot stores. I decided to stop by the Latham store anyway. There were 2 display models for sale. Zack helped me with the fridge. He dusted it down and when I realized that the second model looked better (from the front), but was missing the handles, Zack and another employee, got out their tools, took the handles off of one and screwed them on to the other. When we pulled the second one out we realized that it was badly dented in the back. I apologized to Zack for doing all of that work for nothing and he let me know that it wasn't a problem. That is what he was there for. He then proceeded to call around to see if other stores had what I was looking for and he found exactly what I was looking for at another Home Depot. I don't know if Zack, or any of the other employees who helped me today will ever see this but, for everyone else who does, this is how a store should run. This is customer service at it's BEST! Thank you“
