Tulip Cleaners offers dry cleaning and alterations. Customers have been getting clothes altered for over two years, and it continues to be a great experience. The family is always kind, thoughtful, and skilled in their workmanship and approach. Prices are very reasonable for NYC. A skirt was shortened promptly in two working days, and the extra length was returned. Payments are cash-only. Dry cleaning was fine, but getting it back was a challenge. Hours are not accurate, and the cleaners is not open before 7:30.
Excellent! I've been getting my clothes altered/fixed here for over two years, and it continues to be a great experience. Charlie and his family are always kind, thoughtful, and skilled in their workmanship and approach. The prices are very reasonable for NYC and I've sent my friends here as well.
I visited to get a skirt shortened. Got it done promptly in two working days (not counting the Sunday in between where they are closed) and they gave me back the extra length that I got trimmed if I wanted to reuse it elsewhere. Not the cheapest at $14 but I'm satisfied with the result.
Payments are cash-only. No one answered the listed phone number, but I visited before their posted closing hours and picked up my item.
Dry cleaning was fine but to get it back was a challenge. Closed Sundays, hours are not accurate here on Google and then even when i found the hours posted on their store window, they still were not open at the times posted. Just really a challenge if you are working in the city and just have a dry cleaners that is not open before 730
