Happy Place is a lovely and welcoming salon, but in full transparency I would follow Shea wherever they go. Shea is one of those stylists who will fully remember your hair journey and all the details of what you like and don’t like, on top of being incredibly talented and a joy to talk to while you’re in the chair. As a curly hair girly it’s hard to find someone who “gets” it and can actually give you a killer cut that doesn’t need any styling to look good—no less someone as wonderful to gab with as Shea! If you’re thinking of booking with them: do it.

Shea ROCKS!!!!! i walked in with faded pink hair & wanted to dye it red, but i was a little apprehensive of it flaring too orange or too purple. Shea checked in with me every step of the way and the results are phenomenal. reds/pinks usually fade SO quickly from my hair too, but 2 months later the color is still so bright and vivid (the photo attached was taken a few days ago & is unfiltered!).
