Retro Fitness is a gym that offers state-of-the-art equipment, group fitness classes, and amenities like a Smoothie Bar and Pro Shop. Members can get a good workout in with the available machines, although some may be out of order. The gym has made updates, such as heavy dumbbells, but still needs to improve its air conditioning and address issues with the stair master machines. The workout environment can be affected by the heat and humidity, and some members may be rude to others. Additionally, there may be equipment shortages and issues with the roof during rainy days. Despite these issues, Retro Fitness aims to provide a positive member experience.
It’s a quiet gym.. and it has plenty of machines to get a workout in. However, it isn’t constantly stocked up with disinfectant spray and none of the stair master machines run properly.
Convenience of being near my home, nice and friendly staff. But $30-40 dollars a month and only 2 treadmills out of 12 work. It's been like this for months, it's upsetting because ive been here since they opened. Its unfortunate that I have toggle between this gym and third ave depending on my workouts. Please fix the treadmills.
The gym has great equipment. I love the fact the dumbbells go up to 130lbs among other updates. All we need next is to end at 150lbs. The downside is the workout environment. On humid and hot days, it's unbearably hot ?. They need to repair there A/C unit. Those little fans aren't doing anything. These conditions makes for a toxic gym environment. Gym members can be rude at times. This is not appreciated.
