On top of being a fabulous and professional masseuse, Karen is such a wonderful soul! My partner booked a 90-minute massage for me knowing that I was hurting while we were on vacation in Beacon, and I left Karen's feeling as if I'd walked out of a dream. She was so considerate and especially attentive when it came to all of my problem areas. Her place is so lovely and cozy as well--such a very relaxing environment. I so wish I lived anywhere near the area, because this would quickly become a weekly routine. Can't wait to go again once we're back in the area to visit family!!
The shampoo bar is the best I have ever used. I was experiencing a lot of build up in my hair for many months and other shampoo bars made it worse, used this one and months of build up gone in one wash. My hair now feels so light with so much volume like I just came out of the hair salon!

I didn't truly know what it meant to be pampered until I went to Emily--I leave her space feeling incredible. Any facial I'd had before doesn't compare to hers. She's incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, and gives so much care and attention to her clients. It feels like my face muscles just melt under her relaxing touch and my skin looks and feels great. Can't recommend her enough!
BeBhakti has been part of my life since it opened. It is welcoming and bright, but more importantly, it is reliable. They have a 9:30am class every weekday that I have come to rely on as I plan my schedule, each and every week. My work schedule shifts, so knowing that I will always have a chance to drop into at least one class a week offers me even more peace of mind than just the 60-minute yoga class itself. Consistency! I love it.

Such good vibes and good people. I felt like part of the crew when I got my tattoo done. I was able to coherently talk to my artist to work with them to get exactly what I wanted. They took into account my allergies, which was really important for me. I love that all the different artists here have different styles so if you're looking for something particular there's going to be someone great to be able to help you with it. The place is clean, they practice the right sterilization processes. They also celebrated artists and have art galley showings! The one that was up when I was there was so cool. This is a great place.

They sanded down the splinters, smoothed out the rough patches, and chose a stain that made everything look classy and new. They worked around my schedule and were respectful of my garden too. Now, I love spending time outside again. Thanks to them, my little outdoor retreat is something I’m proud of once more.

Luke of Lakeside was fantastic, and I couldn’t recommend him more. The heater in the bathroom had been leaking water for years and rotted out the whole floor(he didn’t do the original work). He laid out all the work that needed to be taken care of, gave us spot on solid estimates and came in right on budget, now extra BS. He worked fast and got the job done right and fixed all the bad work that had been done. Any work he couldn’t do he referred us to a great carpenter and they work super well together.I call him whenever there’s an issue, and couldn’t recommend him more. He’s a solid dude and enjoy working with him, two thumbs up.

When considering multiple makeup artists for my wedding day, it was hard to find someone that not only listened but also gave great recommendations on how to prep before the day of and which shades/colors would like the best with a fair skin tone. Jules made me feel so beautiful, calmed my nerves the day of and made sure I loved every color, shade and style of the makeup. Such a wonderful girl!! Fantastic makeup job. I was in New York for the first time to attend a wedding in October & I had to find somebody to do me up :) I came across Jenny on a referal website. She was super nice and did an awesome job. I appreciated that she was very communicative, on-time, and listened to what I wanted to achieve in my look. I got nothing but compliments on how well the makeup stood up to my crying at the wedding from start to finish. She used airbrushing, which looked flawless. I would absolutely recommend her. I recently purchased a mid century modern home and wanted to use striking beautiful dimensional tile forms to make a very simple kitchen eye catching and handsome with little more than changing tile and paint. I looked everywhere local and found nothing that captured my mind’s eye for design elements I was looking for.I came across Modcraft by shear good fortune and I am so glad I did.First, the designs of their various dimensional were beautiful and versatile — allowing you to manipulate the striking shapes to produce many different designs based on the tile orientation.Second, the colors are gorgeous and the finishes on the tiles vary by color making them produce a sense of texture when they are well lit. Part of this is accomplished by having each tile be a little unique in how the range of a color spreads itself over the tile face and part of it by how different colors range between a glossy and a matte finish.The tiles themselves are handmade which gives them enough variation to make them feel like little works of art made by a real person. Most of the variation in thickness and shape occurs on the edges of the individual tiles. It all comes together when the grout is added to create a finished look while maintaining a lovely charm that is not possible with factory produced tile.My tile guy loved these tiles so much he took several photos of them to show his family. He said he was thinking of making a portfolio to show potential customers and that he would definitely include my kitchen. He said the tile were “beautiful” and “strong” and that he had so much “fun” working with them.Customer service at Modcraft is excellent. There is no fussiness and no big-headed personalities to contend with. You get a real craftsmen’s workshop feel when you communicate with David. You get passion without pretension.I ordered a fair number of samples tiles before I made my final choice of color and shape. The tiles were promptly shipped with good communication at each stage and helpful follow up. My final order had a longer wait time since they were custom made to my exact needs and shipped on a pallet to my home. Thanks to careful packaging, not a single tile was damaged in shipment.David is a good communicator. He kept me in the loop as things were progressing. As it turned out, I needed a few tiles remade to include finished edges on the exposed ends of the backsplash for my kitchen. Modcraft turned that around quickly to keep my job moving forward which was most appreciated.I personally had a superb experience working with Modcraft. Their tile is reasonably priced for custom tile and, if you want to make tile a big part of how you express your design, you will love the option of dimensional designed tile with the flexibility of being able to work through each tile in as much detail as you need with David.I have already gotten lots of “WOW!s” from people working at my house and friends who visit and see my kitchen. I am completely satisfied with my tile experience at Modcraft. Thanks to their amazing tile, I smile every time I look at my new kitchen. My daughter says that I feel about my tile like her mother feels about jewelry and, actually, she is absolutely right. I love my tile. It is a major highlight of my mid century modern home.
