This was my first appointment with Dr. Newell. I was very pleased with the friendly office staff and Shawn my hygienist. Dr. Newell is very personable and he takes the time to listen. I am a new resident to Nevada and very glad I chose his office.
So happy with how well Jen cut and colored my hair. New in town and she was awesome. Communicates very well throughout the process. Assessed what I was looking for before starting; then midway she checked to make sure it was what I wanted, and at the end made sure I was happy. I feel like I won the lottery today. Excited for future appointments.
Candlelight & Rises was part of our October 2025 wedding pact and they were perfect! We are not the typical wedding cake, so I stead we had a cheesecake, and oh my goodness, was it divine! My husband bring from NY loves cheesecake, so when he got a bite of this he couldn’t stop eating it! All the desserts were amazing, our growers raving about them all day!
Her flowers are super fresh, and she came up with fantastic bouquets with out using roses as I’m allergic. She found the most perfect floral arrangements in the perfect colors.

Ms Tay Tay is literally the best hairstylist! She is fast for kids but her skill is pure magic. Always makes my son look so sharp.

This is a very unique shop. I recommend it to anyone that wants to go get a haircut. Try something new lashes, tattoo makeup skin care. We went there yesterday and me and my son got haircuts and Michelle was wonderful. She is very accurate in what you want. My Son looked like a new man when she was done with his haircut and beard.We definitely will be back. He is on the spectrum and she was wonderful with him. They even had a conversation. It was so Heart felt.❤️

What a charming, magical spot!! Delightfully decorated, with lots of teas and supplies to choose from. And herbs! Lots of dried herbs displayed in beautiful antique cabinets. You must go in and transport yourself to a delightful world where you can sample a spot of tea!
Recently I had a sit-down meeting with the Minden office director, Rebekah Rosas, to make sure all the costs that might occur in taking care of my sister's burial are covered in advanced. Rebekah was helpful, understanding and very pleasant. I really appreciated the work that she did in putting together what was needed to secure my sister's arrangements when needed.

I am new to Northern Nevada and I love a good "fixer-upper". There's nothing quite as gorgeous as customizing my space to fit my big personality. I went in to Two Stone to look at some tiles for my kitchen and bathroom and was greeted by Jonelle. She was extremely nice and helped me pick the best tiles. I even ended up picking my flooring from them too! Jonelle made it so easy and kept me within my budget. I haven't received the material in yet but as soon as I do, I'm going to attach pictures!
I cannot recommend Sparkle enough! Whether it’s a manicure, pedi, acrylics or press ons, she nails it ? but seriously I get so excited everytime I come in because I know my nails are going to be amazing!!

Everyone that works here is just absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, helpful and so kind. They change their bulbs when they are supposed to. Which gives you that tanning experience we all look for. Just love that I found this spot.
Called DR Raschilla's Office because I cracked my front tooth, the Office Staff was great did there best to get me in, the initial appt was 7 days out-which I was pleasantly surprise by, but then she texted me the next day and had a cancellation and got me in. Tooth was fixed in under an hour and everyone was great. Thank you !!!!!!!

Best studio in the valley! Our 5 year old has learned so much over the past two seasons, been a part of wonderful performances and made so many friends. She’s eager to get back at the end of each season. ?

During the week of March 3, 2025, BGS Roofing removed and laid a new roof. The work was completed as promised. In past years, I have had to have new roofs installed. BGS is by far the most trust worthy, honest hard working group of people I have encountered in the roofing business. There was no loud music, loud talking and no swearing. What a great combination: hard working and friendly people who keep their word and are straight forward with requests. We have been blessed with BGS! Without reservation, I highly recommend BGS!!

I'd give Whipple 10 stars if I could. See my review on United Electric in Gardnerville to understand the background. Doyle was fast and professional in solving my problem and un like United Electric he understands how the process works and knows what he is doing. Fixed the problem, got the permit, was there for the inspection on Wednesday, got sign off and power restored Thursday. He knows the players.
Here is a big difference with Whipple - he is and has the contractors license. It makes a big difference.
I've hired license contractor firms and they have the license, but send out employees who are not licensed contractors. The result has been problematic work- every time from HVAC to Plumbing, and electrical. I recommend you always deal with the contractor who has the license to do the work and doesn't send flunky employees out under his license. Shop local, shop small business. Stay away from the big firms with flunkies.

Matt and Gabe showed up the same day we called them. They jumped right in to do the work and were professional every step of the way. When the job ended up being way more difficult than they had anticipated, they kept us informed as to the changes in cost, offered suggestions that would work better for our needs in our renovation, and stayed until the entire job was done--hours past quitting time! Matt noticed some dangerous situations that had been created over the years by various workman, and he showed them to me along the way (broken breakers, amps that were over the 80% limit, exposed wiring, etc.). Then, he fixed them so that they were up to code and no longer dangerous. We were so happy, we asked them to come back and do the next phase of our renovation. Makes living in a small community where pride in a job well done and repeat service still mean something!!
Steve and his crew are very professional. They don't ever take the quick way around anything. They have attention to detail and work with upmost professionalism. I can't say enough about Sclafani Painting. This is our third time using their services in 30 years. They have done inside painting and the entire outside, including our detached shop and shed. I would never consider anyone else to do our painting. Absolutely your best choice, as you will get A+++++ service every time.

On multiple occasions, I went to see Dublin when I had serious back pain. Each time, Dublin fixed me up amazingly well.

Dental office. From my first initial phone call to my appointment, I knew they are a very honest and caring dental office. The greeting was very welcoming, the dental assistant very good at her job and Dr Unruh such a genuine person.
On exit the other assistant took the time to help me understand my insurance and promptly sent paperwork over where I need to have extra work done. Thank you for a great experience as I’m new to the area and this helps tremendously as I settle in!

If you need an electrician you would do WELL to choose Degenspark Electric! I am honestly BLOWN AWAY at the quality of work by these two guys. Day 1 - look at job, day 2 - finish job. Treated me with total respect (my husband was not available to work with them. They listened intently to me and were so respectful, responsive and friendly)! They were VERY affordable and they LEFT NO TRACE! The entire place was put back together AND vacuumed and it was as if they had never been here when I returned. Wow! What a breath of FRESH AIR!!
My family moved here from out of state 5 years ago and I was actively in search of a new dance studio for my 2 teens...from the very first class we tried, the staff and students made my children feel welcome right from the start. The studio director has been amazing in caring about my daughters and challenging them to be the best they can be. This studio has built lifelong friendships and I recommend this studio to anyone of any age.

I moved to Minden about four years ago, but have never been able to find a hairdresser that does my hair the way I like it. On a whim last week I called déjà vu salon to make an appointment and they scheduled me with Kaytlynn for a color and cut. I’ve never had all over color before, but she did a fantastic job and she cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. She was so sweet and friendly, I can’t rave enough about how great my hair turned out. The salon was cute and clean, and I can’t recommend booking with Kaytlynn. Can’t wait for my next appointment!!

Very professional friendly staff. They went over things in layman terms which I appreciated. Living in a small town in California bedside manner would always come up pertaining to our perception of dentistry. As a new patient I was treated by a caring observant nurses and dentist. Only four stars for now as I’m a new patient but looking forward to my next visit. After a few visits now updated to a 5 getting to know each and every one by first name basis. Won’t share names here though but dentist has great sense of humor also a plus!
