Pet Boarding Training in Las Vegas

“In August 2023 we went on a trip to take our daughter to college for about 10 days. We wanted to be sure to leave our cat somewhere he would be well taken care of because he, at the time, was 11 years old and I worry about his health, safety and security.We requested one of the 10x10 feet cat suites and I found the prices to be very reasonable. We took our cat to drop him off and was greeted by the owner of the hotel. SHE WAS AWESOME! She spent lots of time with us and our cat before we departed and listened to all of our requests. I was nervous to leave him there but felt comfortable that he would be safe.During our trip we were sent videos and pictures of our cat to let us know he was doing well. It was so reassuring to see him often and I could tell he was comfortable and even playful.When I picked him up he wasn't scared or stressed, he was ready to go home and went right back to his daily routines. He had no noticeable behavior changes and was just as he was when we dropped him off. I was so happy with these results; when we left him with our vet for about 9 days two years ago, he was scared when we brought him home; he hid under the bed and while we were gone he would not eat or use the bathroom. This was NOT a problem this time and I that's how I know he was happy.I highly recommend this pet hotel and thank the staff for caring for our senior cat so well.“

“David is very knowledgeable and works with your schedule. He is the guy to go to if you want to see results with your dog. My puppy was about 4 months when I started lessons with Dave, he went from having problems with the cat and hard leash pulling when walked to calm around the cat and lose leash walking.“

“This was the first time leaving our cats and have a sitter come over to check on them, so we were kind of nervous. After meeting Nancy we felt more at ease, she made sure every aspect was talked about, from feedings, hiding habits, and even medical history, she has great certifications . “What an excellent experience! Humberto trained our dog so that he actually listens when we command him to. Prior to his training with Humberto we tried to work with a trainer to make him more overdone. Our dog was very stubborn and resistant to her training. Our dog decided he wanted to be in charge of us and do things his way and not the way we were directing or teaching him. Our trainer recommended Humberto.Our dog now knows that we are in charge and when given a command he follows direction. We are now able to take him to the park and he does not react to other dogs and people. We are able to take him on trips and truly enjoy spending time with him when we travel. It is such a relief as we are no longer stressed out over his behavior.Not only did they train our dog but they took the time to make sure as the owner of the dog that we were trained in how to command and control the dog. Our training was just as important as our dogs training to ensure a positive outcome. The follow up with them continued even after we left them. They would text in follow up to see how things were going at home and provided feedback of things we could do to reinforce areas that the dog was challenging us on. I would highly recommend them.“

“We left our boys there while my husband had hip surgery. iIt was only going to be for 3 days but with complications they were gracious enough to allow me to extend the stay We would watch our dogs sort of play (they seem to think they are people). “Ivy is a wonderful and patient trainer. It was easy to explain what my dog needs in order to be less anxious and better on the leash. We learned a lot more about what my dog likes and dislikes that way. Social hour classes are wonderful on top of the classes with Ivy. My dog loved social hour. John and Rachael are amazing people who truly care about what they do and the dogs they help. Charlie isn’t just a client, she’s a member of their family. “I love Smarty Paws! I recently enrolled my dog (1 year old Yorkshire) in their Basic Obedience Class level 1 with Julie Braun, and she is absolutely amazing. She makes class fun and relatable, and, even though it is a group class, individualizes training to me and my dog. We are already signed up for level 2!They also have Boot Camp where you can drop your dog off for the day and they will train your dog for you! My dog has made lots of friends and gets excited when driving to the facility.Obedience class and boot camp have made all the difference in my dog, making him more well behaved and obedient to commands (especially for a small yorkie!). Even my dog’s groomer has noticed the difference. They noted how my dog is more calm and regulated compared to his last appointment, before coming to Smarty Paws.I also appreciate how the facility is serious about ensuring all dogs who come in are up to date on their shots and vaccines, minimizing the risk of my dog bringing home any illness or bringing anything there. They are also very knowledgable about general dog health and fun facts!I highly recommend Smarty Paws to anyone who is looking to train their dog properly in a fun and supportive environment.“

“It feels like Dogtopia has put a lot into researching the best delivery for their customer's service. It seems like they address everything that a pet parent is concerned about. I love the cameras! I even love the FAQ that popped up when the cameras turned off during nap time which answered the exact questions I had like "Will daycare impact potty training?" "Why don't they pick the dogs up?" "Why are some dogs placed in a kennel temporarily?" . I can tell that whatever the coaches do or don't do has a reason. They know what they are doing and you can just relax knowing they've got your pupper's best interest in mind. I love that the coaches wiped down my dog when I came to pick him up. I was thinking about grabbing some doggie wipes before picking him up but Dogtopia already thought of that too! It always smells great inside. I see the coaches cleaning all day and interacting with the dogs. I see them making sure that my puppy is socializing correctly. I like that they do a meet and greet to know that each dog is well mannered enough to be around other dogs. I don't feel worried about my puppy getting attacked or seriously bitten because the coaches don't let dogs in who are too aggressive toward other dogs. I like that they require the core vaccinations for the health of all the dogs but don't go overboard requiring novel vaccines. Honestly, it feels like a human child daycare. That's how much care they put into their business and it really seems like every employee enjoys their job. I feel good knowing that my puppy is being well cared for by happy people, having fun and socializing. I just want to give him the happiest life and I think Dogtopia is part of that.“

“Pam did a wonderful job with my 2 boxers. I was ready to rehome my female after some very unruly behavior. After 6 weeks of in home training life couldn't be better. I highly recommend her services. She also boarded my male while my female was in heet. She's very compassionate about what she does and loves the animals.“

“Incredible experience. I am always nervous about separation issues on those rare occasions I must board my dogs. Not the case here, with all of the cameras I could see my kids were having a great time. While happy to come home, I am sure they would have loved to stay. My only regret that I will probably never be in the Vegas area again because I would love to become a regular play-day customer.It was very clear that all of the staff I interacted with loved their job and were very good at it. “Lifesavers! Huge thank you to GDAH for the kindness shown to me and Birdie. I'm visiting from Cali. I had a dilemma when I realized she wasn't up-to-date on her vaccines. The kennel could not take her. They transferred her records and squeezed her in last minute with a couple hours to spare. They did not have to and they did. I'm so grateful.
