Just moved to Pictou when my truck broke down. A neighbour told me about a great family run business in New Glasgow called S.C.A. Automotive. They were able to get my truck in fast to get it fixed. We stopped by this afternoon to get a new chassis battery for our Sprinter-based Class C Motorhome. We were simply passing through town, no appt. The Parts guy at Stones RV referred us. (They don’t work on RV chassis problems.) Canadian Tire had the battery but wouldn’t install it (they don’t work on RVs). George, the owner of MacQuarry Bros got us the right battery, had it delivered in less than ten minutes, and installed it HIMSELF in no time all, right in the parking lot! I can’t speak highly enough about this business. I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else if I lived within 100 miles (I’m from TENNESSEE IN the US) of New Glasgow. Terrific Service!!! THANKS, George!

Great experience buying glasses here. Good selection of house brand as well as brand names. The lenses come standard coated and anti glare, while other places like to upcharge a significant amount for that. Look out for deals ?...Overall highly recommend, great service.

Very Friendly staff only issue I had is it wasn't very private was in a room with 2 other people while doing my assessment very uncomfortable having others watch as you try and do their exercises
Their knowledge of product (VW) is extensive. We had an issue, they investigated, came up with a solution, provided an estimate, repaired it in a timely manner, did a couple of small additions and our car was back in just a few days. I now realize why they were recommended, great spot.
