They arrived on time, completed the job professionally, cleaned up after their work and were great to deal with from the initial estimate to completion of the job. “What can I say here? Well first who wants to deal with a plumbing issue? Especially one that is waste-water related. Anyway, I discovered water leaking down our front doorway and was thinking as I looked upward - that the 'potty' sits somewhere directly overhead. Being a handy man – as in a man with 'hands' I decided to replace the bowl seal on the toilet and inspect to see if it had been leaking. The previous home owners had cemented the bowl to the tiled floor with grout. So, figured there would be a wet surprise underneath but there wasn't so I reached out and called James at Halifax Plumbing and Heating.A couple years ago they came swiftly on a call to snake our drain and were courteous and professional, so I didn't hesitate to call them again. Once again they arrived quickly and assessed the situation. Sadly it meant cutting into our ceiling to access the pipe and make the proper repairs – but he made the smallest hole possible and worked uncomfortably to get the job done right with the least amount of headaches on our end. I opted to get the toilet replaced in the process as ours probably started its 'flushing career' when John Wayne was making those BIG westerns on the silver-screen. James recommended a new commode that truly now can be called a 'throne'.All-in-all it was one of those unfortunate situations where you'd rather not have to deal with it but seeing that things like this happen its good to know you have seasoned, professional tradesmen like James and his team that can do the job right when repairs are needed! “Editing my review as Wilsons did a great job rectifying this issue. I will say the phone system doesn’t make it easy to get to the right place whoch contributed tk my problem, but the credit team has been incredibly helpful and willing to work with the customer to make things easier.

Delivery is fine, no complaints. The billing department is my issue. I’ve reached out a couple of times over the spring/summer this year to set up equalized billing. Was promised a mailed form and when that didn‘t come, left a voicemail with finance and never got a call back. Now I’ve missed the deadline for equalized billing and was just passed to finance again to leave another voicemail. Why? So they can ignore me again? Please do better Wilsons. Its going to be a struggle for me to get this season’s first oil bill paid now and this was completely avoidable.“

“Friendly, fast and efficient. I called Carvery’s the morning after a prolonged power outage at our home resulting in our hot water heater failing. Reception was friendly and quickly dispatched TWO technicians who arrived within 3.5 hours. They called first to ensure someone was available. The techs went right to work to run diagnosis on the tank. They kept me well informed during this time. Using, what I believe, is curiousness and experimentation, they discovered a solution to what is an uncommon wiring configuration of my tank. Cost was $115 plus tax for 2 techs who had our hot water back slightly after lunch. I will not hesitate to call them again for my plumbing needs. Thank you Carvery’s.“
