I met with Kristen for a consult she made me feel very comfortable, she is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with honesty. She was amazing to work with, she was so patient and made me feel in control during the process! I love my brows, I no longer have to fill them in with a brow pencil. I’m looking forward to going back in 6 weeks to perfect them!“

“I am so so happy with my outcome and experience at Seven collective. I just moved to Halifax in the last couple of months and am always nervous about finding a new salon. The past few salons I've tried before coming to Nova Scotia, I ran into communication issues in regards to my desired outcome. Macy was absolutely stellar and was very thorough. She did an absolutely beautiful job, both with my highlights and style. I have a naturally very difficult hair texture and often end up leaving an appointment embarrassed of the poofy mess I have to walk out with. She was very mindful of my requests for little hair product and nothing that would add to my texture, making it very easy to style the way I like for day 2 hair. Besides her skill and professionalism, she is also just lovely and very easy to chat with! Awesome experience, so glad I came here and will be booking with Macy for future maintenance ❤️“

She took the time to explain every step of the process before and while she was working on my brows, clearly describing what she was doing and the effect it would create. “I was in the neighbourhood and decided to get a trim. Just a simple one inch off the ends and a bangs cleanup without paying the high prices at most salons these days.
My hairdresser did exactly what I wanted and was very gentle handling my hair. I also liked that she didn't spray the water all over me which can be cold and a shock to the system, especially in the face.
I highly recommend her if you want someone who isn't rough while handling your hair.“

My two experiences with MANELAND hair has not disappointed. I like getting a haircut without discrimination. How is it that I went in as a first-time customer and got my haircut done by the salon owner themself and wasn't assessed on how bankable of a client I was going to be? it felt too good to be true. I got my last haircut done with Clarence for my graduation from Flight Attending school (picture shown). Even though I was having a disorderly day during my salon visit and it showed, Clarence was patient with me and treated me with care. I don't take kind service for granted and that's why I'm acknowledging it here on Google.“

“My stylist was wonderful, she was friendly personable, and kind. There was another stylist though that hovered the entire time I was there and made her feel like she was doing something wrong, like a manager and come to find out she was not management. To the point that my stylist didn’t even give herself the option to give herself a tip when I went to pay.. I insisted on tipping.. but she refused. This other stylist was a negative hovering person over the entire experience. She marched around the salon like she owned the place. I felt bad for all the stylists when I left.“

She has helped me shape my look, and on top of that has created a safe space for myself and other 2SLGBTQIA+ folks I’ve recommended go to her as well.
