My two experiences with MANELAND hair has not disappointed. I like getting a haircut without discrimination. How is it that I went in as a first-time customer and got my haircut done by the salon owner themself and wasn't assessed on how bankable of a client I was going to be? it felt too good to be true. I got my last haircut done with Clarence for my graduation from Flight Attending school (picture shown). Even though I was having a disorderly day during my salon visit and it showed, Clarence was patient with me and treated me with care. I don't take kind service for granted and that's why I'm acknowledging it here on Google.“

She has helped me shape my look, and on top of that has created a safe space for myself and other 2SLGBTQIA+ folks I’ve recommended go to her as well. “My stylist was wonderful, she was friendly personable, and kind. There was another stylist though that hovered the entire time I was there and made her feel like she was doing something wrong, like a manager and come to find out she was not management. To the point that my stylist didn’t even give herself the option to give herself a tip when I went to pay.. I insisted on tipping.. but she refused. This other stylist was a negative hovering person over the entire experience. She marched around the salon like she owned the place. I felt bad for all the stylists when I left.“

I felt right at home in this salon and Jacqui and Debbie were very accommodating to the fact that I had my son with me in his stroller which as a new mom is always a worry. My hair is completely refreshed and I love that they offer walk-in services too! the salon was so cute and had great music and atmosphere. 10/10 will be back!“

“I was in the neighbourhood and decided to get a trim. Just a simple one inch off the ends and a bangs cleanup without paying the high prices at most salons these days.
My hairdresser did exactly what I wanted and was very gentle handling my hair. I also liked that she didn't spray the water all over me which can be cold and a shock to the system, especially in the face.
I highly recommend her if you want someone who isn't rough while handling your hair.“
