I have found Oak Street Health (Zuni) to be a welcoming and facilitating healthcare experience. My provider Michelle Berger is excellent, proactive, and takes the time to read the Medical Assistants notes, and my chart, so that patients can be treated rather than rehashing information already provided.
My recent appointment was for a blood draw. The sign in process is very streamlined. I was almost thirty minutes ahead of my draw appointment and they took early. The phlebotomist Shirley was absolutely stellar!!!! I am a hard stuck with only one arm available to draw from but she was able to palpate a vessel and hit it immediately. That is hardly ever possible with me. She deserves a gold star as do all of the employees and staff there at the Zuni clinic. Check out was equally seamless! I was done in an hour easily!
I was a bit taken aback when I realized you were 'just another primary care provider '. Then after a little longer I realized you were going out of your way to listen to me (I am mentally ill and I jabber), you were willing to bring in dieticians, acupuncture and homeopathic medicine consults, and you wound up promising you would help me with anything (mentioning the oxygen tank I am on.). I called you just this morning for help and was not disappointed. I would definitely recommend you to my friends.
